"A Bad Sign" is the 51st episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy begins building the sign for the plot of land that he intends to be identified as Stampy's Funland.
Plot[]
A random sentence & a giant plot of land[]
Stampy opens the episode, staying in his bedroom, and notices a collection of porkchops flying through the door that he can see from the corner he starts in, much to his confusion, looking through the door to EPIC BIG C being the source. Stampy says his plans for the video in that he will venture to where Stampy's Funland will be expected to be and will build the opening sign. Stampy leaves his bedroom to say that EPIC BIG C will be joining him, and also frogangel666, who is currently reorganising his chests. Stampy notices EPIC BIG C having written down a sign, reading that it's a request for Ank55 to join. Stampy decides he can join, and, though confusedly, invites Ank55 to join the helpers too. Stampy claims that his helpers will help him, and recalls their past actions, realising they may just mess around in various instead. He decides that more helpers is better anyway, however.
Stampy introduces frogangel666 to his veiwers, telling everyone that they were introduced via the Love Garden in the previous video. Stampy then tells his viewers that she is running through his chests and organising everyone, and upon seeing his wood chest, is in great admiration of her progress. Additionally, his plants, with "Stampy's Talent" still being empty, as well as his food, and his mob loot, wool, dye, and built items, finding her to be extremely precise in tidying up storage to be something he can't do. Stampy thanks her for sorting out his equipment, referring to her as "Allison Louise".
Stampy moves onto the topic of the Love Garden, explaining the rules in that he adds someone depending on a favourite comment someone wrote, adding that someone to the Love Garden, and will not add those who ask to be added, and he only picks those who write something relevant about the video, or something interesting or hilarious. Stampy gives a shoutout to "BasidalTomb3" for a comment they wrote on "Troubles Brewing", where he set a challenge to leave a random comment. Stampy was surprised to see that he had received 120 comments within three hours, and had to go through every single one, including Facebook for those without YouTube, all of them of varying validity. However, BasidalTomb3 wrote a comment that said "My eggplant woke up at 1 AM, and milked my dinosaur on Neptune, while simultaneously eating space porcupines." Stampy found the comment to be his exact target for randomness, being a real sentence that just uses random elements to it.
Stampy visits his animal farm to remind his viewers of the fact that he was building it, which is categorised by pig, sheep and cow. Stampy then checks out his animal farm and then leaves via the front entrance, saying that if he has the time to do so, he will refine the area, possibly giving them a drinking trough or some baths, though will only do so at the end of the video. However, he will only do so if he has time. As he is about to travel over to the sign's location via minecart, Stampy is reminded he should take a dog with him, and visits his doghouse. Stampy decides to take Cedric due to not having taken him. Stampy says that he can be defined by his bark, picking one in front of him that didn't actually bark, explaining that he has a bark of slightly-lower pitch compared to the rest of the dogs as he leaves via the main entrance to the doghouse.
Stampy sees EPIC BIG C next to the minecart station that leads over to the area with the crazy golf course, seeing her behind one of the corners in an attempt to hide. Stampy tells her not to get in his way, and after she moves for him, Cedric ends up blocking the minecart instead, preventing him from moving. Upon setting off, Stampy admires that he didn't knock into anyone, considering it a first, and that he may actually reach his crazy golf course. In desperation, Stampy says that he has to show what he is building to his viewers, and then attempts to place a minecart down at the beginning of the track as he sets off. Stampy is nearly successful in placing it at the very beginning, and then shows the sign upon entering the horizon. Reaching the general area, Stampy explains that he has to work out the dimensions of the sign, showing the sign tha he will fill in which currently has a yellow and orange stripe on it. Stampy compares the sign to a massive blackboard, and arrives at the station by his crazy golf course, breaking the minecart as he leaves it to prevent EPIC BIG C from colliding against it.
Stampy decides he has another feature to show, however, and walks over to a giant plot of land beyond his crazy golf course, showing that it's where Stampy's Funland is expected to be. Stampy explains that he didn't level any mountains for it, and it was actually originally a frozen lake, having just placed grass over it. He had some assistance for a variety of people, though he forgets due to the operation having been done a long time ago already, and would've given a shoutout to the people he did. Stampy digs away one of the grass blocks and reveals there to be water underneath to evidence there just being a lake underneath, blocking it up again to prevent Cedric from possibly drowning. Stampy thinks he should destroy the area surrounding, though he prefers the empty area the way it is, and hopes that the next 15 videos should fill the plot of land with rollercoasters, sideshow games, haunted houses, and various other theme park material. Stampy realises he should also build a circus, and sees EPIC BIG C crouching up and down next to him, characterising it as excitement, though she can't hear him anyway. Stampy wonders where he should build a circus, possibly considering adding it to the front of the land. Stampy, having finished showing the plot, revisits his crazy golf course, presuming most of his viewers to have already seen it, to check on Gregory Jr., giving him some porkchops.
Stampy attempting to write down a sign in Minecraft[]
Realising that he has spent most of the time talking again, Stampy returns to the main topic of the video, which is the sign, walking through the colourful tunnel to reach the side where the sign is. Stampy hopes to be able to teach his viewers how to block write in Minecraft, assuring that he doesn't want to sound mean to his viewers before saying that the pictures he has seen and worlds he has visited feature messy sign writing, and says that it's easy to write on a sign in Minecraft. By cheating, that is. Stampy says that he has found a picture on planetminecraft.com, which is found by searching "minecraft block writing" into Google Images, revealing there to be a website demonstrating how to write well in blocks, though there are other websites where a typeface can be used to determine it. In this case, however, Stampy decides his method works the most. Stampy describes what the origin of the design for the sign that he is currently building with is, in that it was used for his 1,000 subscribers special, and EPIC BIG C had set it on fire behind the scenes with flint and steel. Stampy starts piling up to the first letters with gravel, continuing that the picture demonstration is the only necessary as the only thing to do from that point onward is to determine the dimensions, since each letter is 4 wide and 7 high.
Stampy is about to explain a basic method to work it out, only to find Cedric at the start of the top letter. Stampy tells Cedric to sit down upon seeing him, despite him easily being able to lure him away via teleportation, and accidentally falls down himself. Stampy ends up catching himself in a dilemma, accidentally flying away to teleport Cedric to him, despite him being sat down, him being able to fly due to host privileges. Stampy sees Ank55 as he wonders how to get him down without killing him, and decides he should be able to survive the fall. Removing his gravel nerdpole, Stampy tries to use a torch underneath for an efficient method, only for it to not work. Ank55 replaces the torch, and the gravel ends up falling due to gravity. He advises that players can use gravity blocks like gravel, instead of dirt, as it is easier to get rid of in comparison. After returning to his original position, Stampy decides to leave Cedric and build the letters instead.
Stampy describes the dimensions as 4 blocks wide and 7 blocks high, using his picture for references. As his gravel tower is broken in the corner of his eye, Stampy realises that the letters actually need to be 5 blocks wide instead, and he realises the signs is too small, and decides to correct the letters while leaving the sign the same size. Correcting the first width to 5, Stampy realises that his helpers had removed his gravel and is now stuck up on the sign, additionally made problematic due to the night cycle. Stampy calls his helpers "bullies", and then remembers that he has a water bucket in hand. Stampy advises his viewers on how to use water to drop down from high places, and attempts to test it with Cedric. His attempt is futile, since dogs don't swim downwards, and he decides instead to push him down the side and remove the water as he does so, swimming down along with the water.
Stampy returns back to the main ground level, seeing his helpers building another gravel nerdpole for him and advising them not to do so, since he is already on the floor again. Stampy finds that he hasn't completed the sign to any capacity, and decides to return back home to sleep to reset the night cycle do, placing down his minecart and pushing it to quickly return back to his house. Stampy decides instead to sleep in the emergency igloo, expecting his helpers to follow him, as well as preparing himself to battle mobs. Reaching the emergency igloo, Stampy apologises for having not completed anything, but is only halfway through and so there is still a chance to do something. Stampy sees a hole in the land for his emergency igloo, and finds people have been destroying his world. He fills in the hole with dirt and decides to replace it with its initial material later, and then visits his emergency igloo to sleep in order to deter the mobs. Stampy sees that he isn't sleeping due to everyone else not doing the same, and tests everyone else's location. He checks the map to see the markers, finding that the red one representing EPIC BIG C is in the middle of the plot of land, confusing him since she isn't by any sleeping location.
Having reset back to day again, Stampy thinks that EPIC BIG C placed her bed in his head within the crazy golf course, since she was able to sleep along with everyone else, and was worried he would have to kick her. Stampy attemps to gather the flat snow on top of the snow blocks, accidentally creating another hole, and explains the large cave underneath the land in that he had dug out the sand from before when he was creating the area, calling it "sandstone", due to his world being created with most of the same material. Still gathering the snow at the top, Stampy ends up creating more holes than less, and finds that he is causing more damage than remedying less, and then finds that he is wasting more time. Stampy explains why he is so particular about the holes in that it would annoy him if he didn't fix it, and crafts the snow gathered into seven blocks to fill in the floor. Stampy accidentally positions some snow in the wrong place, and calls himself the worst builder in Minecraft in the context of actually building as he returns back to his crazy golf course via the minecart, continuing that the task of building of which is made more difficult when he's commentating as he has to pay attention to talking to people, translating his issue as that he is better at the game when he is "grumpy and antisocial".
On his way to the crazy golf course, Stampy finds a squid having spawned underneath his lighthouse bridge, thinking it to be ecstatic around its current situation. Reaching a crossing station, Stampy notes that it has been some time since he has had fun riding in a minecart, and wonders why he finds it to be fun, thinking it's the reason he is eager to make a rollercoaster. In front of the planned location for the sign, Stampy sees EPIC BIG C having built a strange structure to hold a bed, leaving his minecart to check it out.
Stampy returns back to his sign, saying that he is conscious that the sign is too small and will have to extend it, though it isn't a major problem anyway. Stampy explains how he has found how to fit in "Stampy's Funland" on the one sign in that the two words are of matching letter counts. Returning to the top phrase, Stampy counts along to verify the width of the letter he is building, having added one more to the end, and ends up counting 6, needing to remove it. Stampy ends up breaking it underneath him, causing him to fall down and requiring him to build another gravel nerdpole. Stampy points out the irony in this, since he is supposed to be creating the video as a guide. Though he is doing it in survival mode, Stampy knows it would be easier in creative mode, though it would be more fun to not do it creative mode.
Finally writing down the sign's letters themselves[]
Stampy starts building the top word, copying what he sees in his picture, building up two blocks. Stampy nerdpoles up onto said two blocks to continue building, and Cedric ends up teleporing up again, and says that he hopes his helpers will give him porkchops if he falls down. Stampy continues writing out the first "S" on the sign, drawing out the middle, saying that he doesn't want Cedric to repeatedly hurt himself. However, he accepts what he is doing anyway as he sees that he is being careful anyway. Stampy finishes the "S", attempting to give it a view from the awkward angle that he is in from his nerdpole. Giving a gap of one, Stampy starts writing out a "T". After writing out the "T", Stampy watches Ank55 having confronted Cedric on the finsihed "S", and then accidentally falls down again, this time being saved by some water that he had placed.
Returning down again, Stampy sees frogangel666 having come to join in the event, and decides that they should laugh at him for his mistakes. Stampy complains to frogangel666 for her absence throughout the video, since she hasn't helped him build, and decides to craft a sign to ask everyone to help him build. Stampy writes down "please help" on the sign as he questions why it's so difficult for him to build a simple sign, having built the "1,000 subscribers" sign easily. In that case, he was doing it in creative mode and didn't have to think. Stampy has decided on the style of having the letters bulge out by one to make the task easier, and then finds the sign he wrote was censored, annoying him since he only wrote "please help", breaking it. Stampy decides to craft another sign, thinking to just write "help". Stampy complains about the impracticality of the events of the video, as he had believed it would take half a day for him to build the sign, and then he would modify his farm in the next day. Instead, the sign is taking a long time, and as a result, he has multiple gravel piles due to his failed attempts. Stampy checks for more dirt and gravel, only to find that his helpers have removed it all.
Stampy moves onto the next letter, being "A", and decides to sit Cedric down first, continuing to climb upwards as he says that he doesn't want him to die by falling off the sign, as he doesn't want the association. Stampy decides on a different method of writing out the letters, building from the bottom front to prevent climbing up on the letters themselves. Stampy decides on an alternative method instead, and builds a line of dirt along to serve as a scaffolding, finding that it's the true way to write out letters on a sign. Stampy laughs at the irony of him planning to make the video as a guide, only to build it in the most inefficient method possible. Stampy builds the "A" as he plans out the building method, and then moves onto the "M". Stampy is aware that his viewers can't see the picture he is using as reference, advising his viewers to search "minecraft block writing" and look at the first picture, clarifying that he isn't experienced with telling how he is supposed to actually build, and is actually bad at doing so.
Stampy finds that it's easier to build with scaffolding, advising his viewers to use the method themselves, and then moves onto the "P", questioning why he didn't use scaffolding from the beginning, and then moves onto "Y". Or much rather, where he expects "Y" to be since he can't fit it in due to the size of the sign. Stampy decides to build what he can before falling down due to the length of the scaffolding. Stampy realises that he has to build upwards, and now needs to extend the sign out to fit all of his letters in. Nerdpoling up the edge of the sign, Stampy obtains some porkchops from his inventory and eats them so he can return his health, not wanting to die due to the distance between his bedroom and the sign. Stampy needs to fill in the edge with black wool bar the bottom and top, only to find that he can't due to the lack of the material.
Stampy finds that EPIC BIG C used the black wool for her structure, and then starts stripping away at the incorrect edge of the sign, removing it as a chunk, deciding to destroy it all with the pickaxe due to his unwillingness to switch between that and the shears. Stampy hopes that EPIC BIG C sees that he is trying to extend the sign and she will help him do so, and then expresses shame that he hadn't worked out the dimensions correctly, and then sees that frogangel666 had left the game, and decides not to invite her back anyway as he returns back down to the ground.
Stampy walks distantly in front of the sign to see the final product of his uncoordinated building, and decides to extend the sign and build the rest of the sign off-camera, and then plans to build an experience farm in the next episode, hoping to be able to give a better guide on the experience farm than the sign. Stampy looks over at what the sign currently is to give an impression of the eventual final product, telling his viewers to imagine the sign is longer to fit it all in, that there isn't dirt and gravel blocking the view, and that he had finished writing "STAMPY'S FUNLAND", in order for them to imagine something better than what he ended up doing. Stampy informs his viewers that, though it took him a while to understand, if the player builds a straight bridge and follows the online guide, even deciding to link to it in the description to check the exact one, it is the best way to do so, and he summarises his recommendation as "learning from his mistakes". Concluding the task as it is, Stampy then ends the episode with the line "Thank you very much for watching, and I will see you all later. Byeee!", Ank55 placing gravel down in a dotted line front of him.

Trivia[]
- In contrast with his statement in the episode, Stampy's plan for a amusement park was short-lived after he later realises that mini-games were much more fun than rides, as they can be repetitively played. However, he later made a roller coaster, a haunted house and a circus.
