"Uh, there's something missing in my house. I've got a kitchen. I have a living room. I have a bedroom. I have some weird rooms, I have store rooms, I have magical crafting rooms, potion rooms. Uhh, everyone's got bedrooms, there's spare bedrooms. Uhh, I've got a big tower, I've got a library, I've got a swimming pool. I got all of these amazing rooms. Something I don't have, is a bathroom! There is no bathroom inside of Stampy's Lovely World." |
— Stampy listing off of the rooms that he has in his house and that he lacks a bathroom. |
"Bath Time" is the 147th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy replaces the secondary minecart station in his house with a bathroom.
Plot[]
No better breakfast than cake[]
Stampy opens the episode, calling the time a "very bright and early start to the day" as the Moon descends before him, having had a break, spending the last episode playing games, and the episode before that chasing after Mittens, which he is glad about, deciding to return to work, deciding not to build in Stampy's Funland or Stampy's Town and instead right inside of Stampy's Lovely Home, greeted by L for Leeeee x sticking his behind out from the painting, which he responds to by telling him not to be rude and to behave, thinking him to be committing to his morning exercises where he has to commit to "morning squats" to limber himself up, sarcastically adding that some blocks are heavy to carry around like iron and various tools. Additionally, a requirement is energy, which he uses to lead L for Leeeee x into giving him a cake, of which he proceeds to eat, declaring there to not be a better breakfast than cake, or alternatively a muffin.
Leaving the bedroom, Stampy visits his Love Garden, informing his newest viewers that, at the beginning of every episode, he looks at a sign for someone to give a shoutout, in this case doing one for "Loiuse Webb" for baking an actual cake for him, which he considers a plausible reason to add absolutely any individual to the Love Garden for, having been assisted by a creeper, her mother, and her dog Wisper in a full 14-minute video, having done it for Stampy's sake, wishing he had it for himself and welcoming her to his Love Garden. Visiting the doghouse, Stampy notes that he is also accompanied by a dog, all of the dogs in question living in his doghouse, which appears small on the exterior only to be bigger on the interior, which he suddenly finds L for Leeeee x inside of, deciding to take Spring with him, characterising him as having longer legs. He sees Mittens colliding with the dogs and pushing between them, leading Stampy tell her not to pick a fight only to see her direct herself to the "bone" button the food dispenser, releasing one and then holding it out for her, only for her to run away upon doing so anyway, deciding to leave it behind.
Removing the old minecart station walls & starting the bathroom walls[]
Leaving the doghouse, Stampy describes the basic idea of what he is building in that it isn't extravagant, but is necessary, missing something within his house, listing off that he has a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, various weird rooms, storage rooms, crafting rooms, brewing rooms, additional bedrooms, a tower, a library, and a swimming pool, only lacking in a bathroom, having been "holding it in" for a long time, deciding that he should add one. Additionally, he hasn't bathed in a long time, deciding to build a bath in order to clean himself, as the room he currently has to the front left of the right wing of his house is wasted, as it is a set for a minecart leading to the opposite side of his house, which he considers pointless. After countless attempts from L for Leeeee x to ride the actual minecart track across, Stampy decides to just walk across the track itself, showing it to lead across from the room to the crafting room, with no one additionally using it either, converting it into a bathroom, advising his viewers that cats don't take fall damage, demonstrating that dogs do as Spring falls off of the minecart track in the background.
Hearing this, Stampy calls over his pets and L for Leeeee x for a headcount, Mittens being the first one, proceeded by L for Leeeeee x. Though with some delay, Spring eventually joins in too, and Stampy proceeds to sit both of his pets down while telling L for Leeeee x to join him. After sitting them down on the balcony, the two of them return to the minecart station to destroy it, explaining his plan for the bathroom he has to mind to be actually functional, as opposed to simply making it appear as a bathroom, instead including an actual bath with a shower, and sinks with a hot and cold tap, which he will give a tutorial on the redstone for, assuring his viewers that it's simple and easy as Stampy himself is able to do so. Stampy had formed a design for his bathroom via searching "bathroom" into Google Images, deciding to copy aspects from a variety of the bathrooms he liked.
With the inspiration in mind, he intends for the floor to be a mixture of stone slabs and grey wool, including a border of sandstone at the bottom of the wall, with light blue wool on top and wool on top. With one full wall stripped down, Stampy starts to add the sandstone border in question, blocking off the hole leading to the track outside due to its lack of necessity, and after a cut, he repeats the idea that he has for the design, and that he doesn't yet need to worry about the walls. Stampy realises that he immediately has run out of sandstone, requiring a single block more, only for L for Leeeee x to give him an entire stack of sandstone.
Removing the minecart station floor, replacing it with a bathroom floor & finishing the basic bathroom design[]
After lining the bottom of the wall with sandstone, Stampy decides to move onto the floor, adding that he thinks it to be weird that the part of the house he is currently building in was mostly made within a cliff, having originally planned for all of his house to be over the water with various hidden areas inside of the mountain. Instead, he had built multiple rooms and has one area now dug into the mountain, and now additionally wants to expand it, having previously thought he had finished his house and was consenting with it, thinking that he should expand and add more rooms, offering his viewers to suggest ideas for what to do.
Removing the original floor, Stampy starts setting up the floor with a set of stone slabs as the first the player walks into, explaining his process of leveling it out with the rest of the floor by setting down two stone slabs on top of one another, which doesn't matter anyway as it can't be seen from the top, additionally saying a benefit of the room in that due to its size, it should be built rather quickly, as opposed to spending a large period of time setting down long rows of blocks, so he can then start to build the more entertaining elements, such as the bath. Stampy realises that he should add a litter box to the bathroom, though he has trouble remembering the name, in the form of a gravel block in the corner for himself as well as Mittens, as he and his cat don't require normal human toilets.
Adding a shower to the bathroom[]
After filling in the bathroom floor with the checkered stone slab-grey wool pattern, Stampy fills in the rest of the wall with light blue wool, the white ceiling already having been filled in, at which point he admires the progress made within the period of time, having transformed the room into a bathroom, offering L for Leeeee x to fill in the last wall with light blue wool. With the bathroom interior nearly complete, Stampy sees a sign reading "litter tray?" from L for Leeeee x on the previous topic, and then he proceeds with the rest of the bathroom, starting with the bath. Stampy adds it to the back of the room white wool, making it two blocks wide, planning for it to add a dispenser for the water as he fills in the entirety of the shape with white wool, commenting on the bath size what with it being 2x2 as he would prefer a jacuzzi-style idea instead.
With the main baththub added, Stampy then proceeds to dig back into the area behind where he will then add the dispensers, then needing to add it to an on/off switch, clarifying that there isn't any hot or cold switches to L for Leeeee x as it will only serve as a shower. Stampy sets down the general area for the button, and then digs further back to create the redstone trail to lead to the dispenser behind, leading it over to the dispenser, filling the wall back up. To demonstrate the dispenser works, Stampy inserts a button, which triggers the dispeners to work upon triggering the button. With this element complete, Stampy then crafts some buckets with the crafting table in the middle of his house, and then searches for water, ironically a statement proceeded by intense rainfall. Stampy journeys outside to gather only three water buckets out of necessity, and then returns to the bathroom to add the water bucket to the dispenser in order for the water to then be released. Setting in the water bucket and adding the dispenser, Stampy then sets off the dispenser via the button and triggers water to pour out, allowing him to have a makeshift shower of sorts.
Adding a toilet & sink to the bathroom, and using the bathroom[]
With the main shower complete, Stampy then moves onto the toilet, setting it down in the corner opposite from the main door, deciding on a traditional toilet of sorts, creating an "L" of white wool facing into the room itself. After, he crafts a trapdoor to make a toilet seat, only to realise that he can instead use a cauldron rather than white wool, which he fails to search for the due to rarely making them, which he will then fill with water to create the toilet, crafting the trapdoor afterwards in order to set it down on top for the toilet seat, finishing the toilet. Afterwards, he also creates a sink in the form of a 2x1 hole created by white wool, intending for two dispensers to be added in order to signify hot and cold. Filling in the rest of the shape with white wool, Stampy gathers his two dispensers and sets them down, then planning for two item frames on top to be created in order to add in blue and red wool to indicate hot and cold. Realising that he doesn't have the water buckets to fill in the dispensers, Stampy returns back down to gather extra water, intending for him to return his pets back inside.
Stampy realises that he had left his pets outside in the rain, and he apologises to them for doing so so they can play in the bathroom, allowing them to return inside or stay outside and then returning back to the bathroom, though Mittens unintentionally blocks him. Inside of the bathroom again, Stampy sees L for Leeeee x switching toilet designs, and then proceeds to add the water buckets into the two dispensers, now requiring him to add a button both sides, crafting wooden buttons and setting them down on either side. He then sees L for Leeeee x's toilet design, to his confusion, comparing it to a toilet from the future of sorts. He offers L for Leeeee x to check the design of his sink taps, demonstrating it with ease, and then requesting him to add the symbols on top of the dispensers.
Stampy then deems the bathroom as finished, seeing Mittens on the toilet, and questions Spring's absence, finding him still waiting outside in the rain on the balcony, which then causes Mittens to teleport on top of the balcony fence. Back inside of the bathroom again, Stampy decides to add some extra decorations in the form of paintings, intending to "brighten it up", only going through the two paintings with the skeletons, and the one with the spider, and then ending up on the only one with a creeper. Stampy then sees L for Leeeee x having completely removed his toilet, asking him if he is doing plumbing work, seeing him having ended up into the library just below. The toilet removed, Stampy confusedly asks himself what he is doing to it as he liked it in its initial design, which he is unable to replace the cauldron of, though it's a lie due to him having 48 pieces of iron ingot still in his inventory.
Setting down the final decoration in the form of a single block painting between the bath and sink, Stampy offers Mittens to test the shower with him, which she eventually does, and the two of them test the shower together, as he does by pushing Mittens into the water flow. However, Mittens immediately escapes, allowing Stampy to simply test it for himself, considering the experience to be nice and jokingly asking Mittens to was his back for him. Stampy sees L for Leeeee x returning the toilet to its initial form, and then crafts a lever to create a flushing mechanism, seeing L for Leeeee x "doing his business" as he adds said lever down. Stampy then deems the bathroom complete, demonstrating the shower, and then the sink, which he accidentally leads to flood by pressing both dispensers to trigger at at once, requiring him to block them up in order to stop the flow. Stampy announces the end of the episode, expressing his plans to then return back to Stampy's Funland to create a new mini-game, then thanking his helpers and pets, and ending the episode with the line "But that's the end of this video here, so thank you, all of you for watching, and, I will see you later. Byeee!"
