"Oh, we're gonna go for an arrow battle. Oh, we're shooting across the entire map! Right, I'm gonna hide behind my Love Love Petals and gonna try and take him out. [laughs] I don't think either of us has hit the other person once yet."
— Stampy during an archery attack sequence in a test tournament for his Flower Power mini-game against L for Leeeee x.

"Bear Battle" is the 116th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy builds walkways along the sides of, as well as the start of a giant tree tower for Flower Power, and then hosts a test tournament against L for Leeeee x.

Plot[]

The two golems together & a paper fashion show[]

Stampy opens the episode, noting that he is being joined by Henry, a "rock-climbing pig", of which is jumping on the mountain featuring his first shelter, as well as a happy bear known as "L for Leeeee x", who emerges from the painting per tradition with Stampy expecting to give him his cake, as he is rather hungry, going to eat the cake immediately. Stampy also introduces Faithle55Angel, seeing a piece of bread that she is holding which he realises is hers, giving it to him anyway. Stampy also introduces Hilda as his new iron golem who was spawned in the previous episode, greeting her and asking if she is settling in. She only responds to him by turning away from her, and then realises that he needs to add a bedroom for herself and Henry as he is confined to his balcony, otherwise trailing snow all over the floor, and Hilda is the opposite case due to being able to walk around everywhere, though rather tall, a statement which he fears will offend her, stating that she has issues walking through all of the doorways, calling them to be equally restricted and assuring that he will build them some form of living quarters at some point in the future.

Moving onto the Love Garden, Stampy gives a shoutout to "Katy Armitage" for sending him a video based on himself and his helpers dressing in the clothes sold in Stampy's Overwear, making it possible to remove clothes too, continuing that she had also spent time on it, giving a preview and planning to link the full video in the description, thanking her for the video and welcoming her to his Love Garden, proceeding to inform his viewers that his Love Garden is an area where he gives someone a shout to thank them for a reason, such as a picture, a funny comment, or a general message. Now at the doghouse, Stampy decides on the basis of eagerness than names, basing it off a dog who turned straight to look at him, characterising the dog as Barnaby who has the red collar.

Stampy then notices iBallisticSquid in his room at the end of the hallway, wondering if he is building a house and wondering if he wants to join him due to closing a piston door he had made. Stampy decides to open it up again and investigate inside to find him building a structure of his own, finding him to be building a house for himself, which he admires. Leaving the doghouse, Stampy decides he should see the result of this house at the end of the episode, continuing that he used to live in his own house before being filtered out by Amy Lee33 and rosie833, meaning that he has to live at the bottom of the sea. Stampy decides to accept this as he can live with the fish down below, thinking he would be able to get along with it. Walking over to Stampy's Funland rather than using the minecart, Stampy describes that he is ignoring his minecart track, explaining that it's due to minecarts have significantly decreased in speed, making them redundant, deciding to update the track at some point, potentially when completing Flower Power, having an idea to create an subway system of some form, intending to do such in the future.

Saving a cow & building walkways for Flower Power[]

Arriving at Stampy's Funland, Stampy explains that he will finish off his Flower Power mini-game in the present video, or rather making a plausible amount of progress. Suddenly, by the shelter's middle ledge, Stampy suddenly sees a cow unable to drop down without jumping, deciding to aid it by helping it due to feeling pitiful for it, comparing his rescue mission to saving a cat from a high point, deciding he should pretend to be a fireman. Stampy builds a dirt track directly down over the top of Agatha's grave from the top, leading the cow down immediately and telling it not to push him. Stampy sees the cow failing to travel all the way down, and he thinks that it is attempting to travel down backwards instead and twisting itself around, thinking it is having some form of celebratory dance. The cow eventually jumps off of the raised platform, proclaiming that he has saved a cow and has done his "good deed for the day".

Deciding he should focus on his main priority, Stampy explains his plans in that he will build the main interior of the mini-game, having constructed the spawn and the main starting area. However, it is currently an empty area, which he will fix in the present episode. Stampy explains that he has worked out how he wants the entire appearance of the location to be, deciding he should improvise it. Entering inside the arena, Stampy also says that, due to exact symmetry, Stampy has decided he should build one side while his helpers build the other, copying what Stampy does, meaning he should have to make a decision on design and stick with it. He then points out that the boundary for the arena has been raised since the previous episode, considering extending it up higher depending on the height of the interior structures.

Stampy starts to construct the first side walkway ramp, and had decided after a while to build out of wood due to needing stairs for the ramps, as well as slabs, and any other material wouldn't allow him to use stairs exactly, though he wonders about sandstone. Stampy clarifies that he likes the appearance of the spruce wood and birch wood together, explaining that he will add a pattern of spruce wood on the edges and birch wood in the middle, having formed a test of the general idea prior to the episode. Stampy starts building the first set of stairs in the expected pattern from the top of the plant pot edge, stating that they will link up to the middle and lead to an open patch to serve as a primary meeting point. Stampy then explains the rules of the mini-game as he starts to build out a flat walkway wrapping to the edge of the corner one block below the stairs, describing that two player spawn in and capture as many flowers as possible before returning them to their personal base, and the team to gather all of them automatically wins. He compares it to a player-versus-player mini-game in that players can either gather the flowers that they need, or otherwise attack the other players to prevent them from gathering their own team's flowers.

As he starts building the middle birch wood line, Stampy continues by stating that the mini-game should be fun, and then states that he hopes to built the walkways enough to test it before the end of the episode, though he is unsure as to the amount of progress made as he traditionally starts to build something and end up running out of time and building outside of the video, additionally wanting to see his viewers' videos of what they themselves have built, as he is always sent a collection of pictures from those who do the same as he does, which he loves as people do it different by a slight, with Stampy building in his own style and others doing it in their own manner, thinking to build enough in the video demonstrate the basic design.

Meeting with L for Leeeee x in the middle, Stampy connects the path up to the middle, explaining that the paths will dip as they meet in the middle. To do this easily, Stampy decides to build the main middle ramp out of the same materials, designed as two staircases meeting in the middle, then crafting another crafting table once on the ground. Stampy jokes that he spreads crafting tables around an area upon first visit, and then starts to build the middle area, using spruce wood planks exclusively for a template. He judges the exact middle of the even count for the shorter side of the arena, expanding the stairs in the middle to six by expanding two out from two both sides to make it symmetrical, planning to build it up and then dig a tunnel underneath. However, Stampy firstly decides he should sleep due to it turning to night, wonderin where Faithle55Angel is and deduces her to simply be wandering around Stampy's Funland, telling everyone else to find a bed and sleep, intending to join them in the process once they have done so too, deciding to join them unless they can't, in which case he will have to work throughout the entire night, which he is capable of doing himself, though he is worried that mobs may spawn and ruin his fun. Stampy decides to spread torches around the floor in the event that he can't, not wanting to lead something to spawn, adding that the mini-game is difficult enough with the enemy team targeting, meaning that the mobs are unnecessary.

Continuing to build the middle staircase, Stampy continues that due to symmetry, he only has to build one side that L for Leeeee x then has to copy exactly, though while building up some extra stairs, Stampy is interrupted by L for Leeeeee x standing directly where the stairs are supposed to be and where he is currently building. With this, Stampy decides to start the stairs on the opposite side symmetrically, explaining that the stripes in the pattern eases out the ability to judge how to position things, as it being one colour would make the process of judging the middle, the stripes making it easier to see the player's orientation. Having finished writing the sign, Stampy reads what L for Leeeee x has written as "Birch" as to request birch supplies, explaining that he has grown spruce and birch trees everywhere around the area, clarifying that though he is in possession of a few stacks, there is still a selection of trees present in the area.

Stampy decides on the height of the stairs as three blocks before flattening out the area to add in the meeting point, then seeing a zombie in the background spawn directly in front of him, telling it that he can see it before killing it with his bow and arrow and explaining that this is the reason for him wanting everyone to sleep, though not before iBallisticSquid ends up sleeping anyway, surprising Stampy, deciding that he himself should also be able to sleep along with L for Leeeeee x, though he recalls him to actually be cutting down trees for birch, which he verifies upon seeing L for Leeeee x attack a skeleton with his overpowered sword, telling everyone to sleep, though it turns out that there is another mob nearby. Upon leaving the red plant pot base he is using to sleep in, Stampy exits outside to investigate the potential location of the mob, which turns out to be a creeper directly outside that he immediately goes to kill in desperation to prevent it from blowing up the mini-game itself, and upon killing it, Stampy wonders how L for Leeeee x hadn't seen the creeper and he believes that it had spawned just as he came inside the plant pot. Stampy comments that it had gotten his heart racing, and then the game resets to day.

Stampy immediately goes to judge the stairs structure that he had built, wondering if it's bigger since he wants the middle platform itself to actually be four blocks wide. Since it is currently two blocks wide, Stampy has to pull the stairs back by one on both sides, adding the stairs on top of the other, only to reconsider his idea immediately after as he doesn't want the meeting point to be too close to the spawn area. Afterwards, Stampy links the straight platform to the other walkway already built on the sides, starting to extend stairs up as he also explains that he will build a massive tree on the opposite side, wanting it in the form of a high tower to serve as some form of "power position". Stampy extends the stairs up to the necessary height, stating that, since it is fully spruce, the pattern doesn't look particularly appealing, intending to continue the pattern, though he is planning to simply add a template for the design this time around.

Linking up the side platforms to the middle via staircase, Stampy demonstrates how exactly players would venture around the mini-game during gameplay itself in that they run up from the bottom via the stairs to reach the opposite team's base, ending up falling down after doing so. Stampy epxlains his plans for the general middle area in that he will also build a giant flower to serve as a set of obstacles, as well as parkour to jump across and reach the other team's base easily.

Building a giant tree for Flower Power[]

Finishing off the walkways as they are, Stampy starts to build a giant tree out of spruce wood logs to make it appear as a normal tree. Judging it by the middle of the meeting point, of which is notably nowhere near the middle of the mini-game arena itself, Stampy starts to build the giant tree to the top, sitting Barnaby down in advance to prevent him from teleporting up and dropping off the tree, which he doesn't want to have happen. Stampy starts to build the tree six blocks wide on the back, explaining that there will also be a ladder to climb to the top, as well as another staircase leading into the tower itself, which will feature two extra flowers, as there will be flowers hidden around the area. Having mentioned the flowers, Stampy lays out the position of the flowers themselves in that they will be in the tree with two, as well as two by the bases, and one in the far corners so the player can't run to one area and return to the base, instead requiring to wander around to find as many flowers as possible.

Continuing to extend the fake tree, Stampy states that he hopes the explanation he is proposing makes any form of sense, as he believes his explanations complicate his goals by five, using an example of him explaining going to the shower in that he will complicate even that, as he is bound to redundantly lengthen out the terms instead of simplify them, assuring that the mini-game is as simple as he proclaims, and that it will be understood fully once the mini-game itself is played. Stampy then runs out of spruce, starting to admire the name and even considering naming an animal in his ownership after it, calling it a "manly" type of wood, even proposing that it should be said in a deep voice due to this. Behind Googlies Manor, Stampy shows that he has also set up a temporary tree farm due to being aware that he would use spruce and birch wood frequently, meaning he could easily gather more upon running out. In regards to the mini-game layout, Stampy deems the idea in completion and he will plan to finish the tower tree, as well as some green wool at the top to make it appear more as a tree, comparing it to his nearby helter skelter, which he deems the hardest area to control. On the opposite side, Stampy plans to also add an underground tunnel featuring some extra roses that only has one way to enter and one way to exit, trapping players who may enter the area underneath.

Having gathered enough wood, Stampy continues that he will finish what he can in the present episode before adding to it outside of the video so he can finish it and play it eventually. With his spruce wood supplied, Stampy returns to his unfinished tree, planning for the tree's basic shape to be that of a box, which he designs as 5x6, adding a doorway to line up with the ladders as well as some windows on the sides. Afterwards, Stampy starts to build up the front with the intention of linking up a staircase from the top to the middle to allow two method of access, meaning the player can either use the middle or the ladder, the ladder taking a longer period of time to use, and he then jumps down to link the staircase from the middle up to the top, intending for it to lead to the top of the tower. Now that he is connecting the stairs, Stampy has to craft more spruce wood planks due to running out, a situation of which he questions temporarily, and he finishes building up the staircase leading to the tower, the tower also intending to act as cover.

Connecting the staircase to the top of the tree, Stampy continues that he will have a tester game, or rather run around and shoot arrows to test the capacity for fun. Stampy, upon connecting with the tower, realises that he has potentially built too high and decides to gather the spruce wood via condensing the height down to use it for the floor of the tower in line with the stairs, and not having much to build afterwards upon completion of this element due to the mini-game being finished by this point. Filling in the floor, Stampy also adds to the top floor walls to create extra cover, extending it upwards to then create a roof overhead, repeating that he plans to add green wool at the top to deem the build more tree-like.

A test tournament of Flower Power against L for Leeeee x[]

After building the tower up, Stampy deems that he and L for Leeeeee x should have a tester game, though he knows it won't properly work due to simply being incomplete, deciding on instead using one flower per base for the test. Stampy gives L for Leeeeee x a rose, using his dandelion on the top of the yellow base to set up the test. Stampy explains that he has to reach L for Leeeeee x's base and return the rose back, adding the dandelion he has down on the top of his base. Stampy takes note of the rose he already has in the top left corner of his inventory, deciding he shouldn't cheat with it by jumping down and inserting it into the chest as storage, and then he proceeds to ask L for Leeeeee x for a bow and arrow and a wooden sword to set off the test game, anticipating it to not last a long time anyway. Stampy tells L for Leeeee x to enter his base, and for him to pull the lever to start, and also stay wary of Barnaby as he will attack him during the fight.

Eventually, L for Leeeee x sets off the test tournament, and Stampy proceeds to the top of his base with his plan in mind, intending to obtain his dandelion so Stampy needs to be killed in order to pick it up. Now at the top, Stampy sees that L for Leeeee x had done the same and is currently shooting arrows at him with his bow and arrow set, Stampy retaliating and hiding behind the stem of his model flower for cover. L for Leeeee x looks away, and Stampy decides to charge towards him via the right walkway, only for him to be led to jump down, him deciding to respond by hiding behind the stairs in the middle as he tries to shoot back at L for Leeeee x. Stampy decides to climb up the tower, only to trick him anyway. Stampy clarifies that the mini-game will need to actually be played with gamertags disabled, giving an element of danger to the mini-game.

Due to being hit, Stampy speculates Barnaby will now target L for Leeeee x, and then climbs up to the top of the tower in preparation to shoot him, stating that he has to gather the flower and return back to his base. Revealing himself, he is shot by L for Leeeee x again, reducing him to half a health point. With the knowledge in mind, Stampy is eventually killed by L for Leeeee x, meaning he has ejected all of his inventory, allowing L for Leeeee x to obtain the flower. Desperately, Stampy gathers his weapons again to prevent him for returning to the base, except this leads to a continuous looping chase of Stampy trying to kill him from behind to prevent him from gathering the flower in the base. Due to this being repeated, however, Stampy decides instead to cut him off, wondering how many times he has hit him before successfully killing L for Leeeee x. Now having killed L for Leeeee x, all of his belongings are dropped along with the rose, which he eventually finds and picks up, With his rose, Stampy now has to return back to the top of his team's base and tediously positions his flower, with the additional indication that he has placed it via redstone lamp.

Stampy celebrates his winning while L for Leeeee x quits the game in anger, and he clarifies the event that had just occurred as a test of the actual full mini-game, telling his viewers to imagine more flower models and obstacles, with the general idea of chaos being established. Stampy also states that he had enjoyed the experience, and then deems the end of the video, deciding he should add other features to the arena to make it more presentable, seeing iBallisticSquid having approached the mini-game, apologising for being unable to see the house he had built, intending to do so in the next episode and assuring that it looks appealing, and has more time work on it between episodes. Stampy then ends the episode with the line "So I wanna thank you all very much for watching the video, and hopefully, I will see you all in the next episode. Byeeeee!"
