"Christmas Day" is the 45th episode of Stampy's Lovely World, and the first Christmas-themed and first holiday-themed episode. In this episode, it's Christmas 2012, and Stampy celebrates Christmas with his helpers for the first time.
Plot[]
Setting up the stage for Christmas 2012[]
Stampy opens the episode, announcing that the Minecraft video is special since it's Christmas Eve, which means it's going to be Christmas Day, leaving his bedroom to travel up to his clubhouse, and stating that he is excited to celebrate it. Stampy says that he has a day planned, showing that he has laid out a table in front of the bar and decorated the top of the wall with an alternating redstone torch-torch pattern, and has to prepare something more for the proceeding day. Stampy places his "stocking" underneath the Christmas tree, hoping for Santa to store it full of presents by the morning. To increase his chances of this happening, Stampy sets down some food by the library fireplace, placing down a cake and a set of apples for Dasher, Prancer, Dancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph, though he accidentally returns most of them to himself and throws them back down again immediately after, since they have a long trip from the North Pole.
Stampy has one extra plan before going to sleep, though he is unsure as to how he will manage to do so due to his excitement, in that he has to also add him to the Love Garden, and will give him presents in return. Stampy adds the sign to the Love Garden, writing out "Santa". However, though he spelled the name correctly, he placed the sign incorrectly, and finds that he can place signs onto signs. This time, Stampy places the sign on top of another sign, accidentally misspelling it as "Stanta". Stampy then goes to sleep, saying that it is difficult to sleep due to excitement, deciding it to be the appropriate time to do so.
Christmas Day 2012[]
Stampy sleeps, and it turns to Christmas Day, apparently taking a long and painful night. Stampy walks outside of his balcony to see it having snowed, as well as presents on the hill by his clubhouse, and finds that Santa has been present. Stampy first goes to check his clubhouse, as well as if Santa has eaten the cake and his reindeers have eaten the apples. Stampy sees a trail of snow, following it into the library. Stampy sees Santa eating the cake in front of him as well as Santa traveling up his library chimney. Stampy wonders why he managed to see him, thinking Santa to be slow due to his seniority. Stampy continues his chase of the snow, and travels up to his clubhouse to check his stocking. Stampy checks the stocking to see six pieces of cooked fish, an enchanted golden apple, and a diamond helmet. Stampy jokes about the sign reading "Awaiting approval" that is supposed to have his name written on it, and then leaves his clubhouse to check the presents.
Stampy finds that it has been snowing on the hill too, and that there are diamond blocks on his chimney. Stampy also sees an F1 car with a snow golem, calling him Henry, and then reads a sign nearby that confirms it to have been given by Ank55. Stampy checks one of the presents, finding that there is coal, sarcastically thanking him. Stampy also finds Ank55 in one of the presents, and then checks another present to find a diamond and ten lily pads. Stampy checks another present, finding a stack of nether warts. LONG bow X99 also appears, much to his surprise, and checks another chest, finding an enchanting table and a blaze rod, thanking them for giving them to him due to the absence of nether fortresses in his world. Stampy returns back to the sign to check if it has loaded, and finds that it hasn't. Stampy goes to search around his house for the other guests he had planned to join him, and finds Fred the enderman in his living room, who gave him a dirt block. Stampy gathers some food from his fridge, releasing a chicken for the guests, a fish, and a porkchop for his dogs.
Stampy leaves his living room, promising to give Fred something, getting hit by him on the way out. Stampy then travels to his doghouse, picking up his dogs, and finds them all to be surrounded by a cake, and thinks that they won't want to join in with him. Stampy decides to pick Duncan, Oreo, Cedric and Barnaby. Stampy sees Duncan sitting away from everyone else, and calls him a Scrooge due to his dislike of Christmas, and brings him along to teach him the value of Christmas. Stampy repeats his plans, and takes his dogs to the clubhouse as he confirms all of his guests, though other helpers like Crimson Azoth and LONG bow X99 won't join him. Stampy takes the chicken from the furnace that was cooking it, and then travels up to his clubhouse to celebrate with Christmas dinner.
Sarcastically, Stampy remarks that he now has to accomplish the task of sitting his dogs down in an orderly fashion around the table, and sees Henry sat within the confines of a playpen, having come inside from outside. He has been included in a playpen to prevent him from covering the ground with snow due to Santa already having done so, seeing his helpers present again. Stampy makes his attempts to organize everyone into their seating positions, telling LONG bow X99 to not sit in the bigger chair due to it being for the host, which is himself. With only Barnaby and Duncan present, Stampy wonders where his other dogs are, and hopes they eventually join so they don't miss Christmas dinner. Howver, Stampy remembers something important, which is partially also him forgetting to eat, but is primarily the Christmas cakes he had stored in the cabinets above the kitchen. He wonders where the chicken is, only to recall he had already cooked it, and then returns back to his clubhouse to place down the cake as dinner, and then plans to have a Christmas party afterwards.
Stampy gives all of the guests present, including the four dogs altogether, some cake, and replaces his iron helment with his diamond helmet, and also shares the porkchops with his dogs, eat his cooked fish, and gives LONG bow X99 some mushroom stew. Stampy wonders where the cooked chicken disappeared to, and recalls that he had ate it, and also eats his enchanted golden apple from Santa. Stampy remarks that the Christmas has been great, commenting that Christmas looks like what it does in Stampy's Lovely World, all of his dogs and Henry jumping around because it's Christmas. Stampy then checks the sign again, and verifies its written message, finding out that it says "Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas From Santa", following on that he knew the presents from before were from Santa.
A Christmas 2012 party[]
Stampy gives LONG bow X99 permission to play music, and also comments on how Ank55 is excessively drinking potions. Suddenly, the music plays, and he finds that LONG bow X99 had picked Chirp. Stampy has a revelation that Minecraft can be fun on Christmas, and he believed that he would just have a normal day, surprised that he has a real Minecraft Christmas party. Luckily as well, there isn't a threat to play a part in the Christmas party and ruin it. Stampy intends to stand his dogs up, only to find a creeper after turning the corner, and he erratically attempts to defend against it. However, the creeper turns out to be docile, leading Stampy over by throwing roses, and thinks that the creeper entered due to jealousy of the party.
However, the creeper starts to leave the clubhouse instead, and Stampy thinks that it's leaving out of rejection. As he attempts to encourage it to stay, Stampy feeds some of his dogs by the table, accidentally feeding two of them and causing them to breed, birthing a puppy. Stampy calls the puppy Chicken, which is another suggested name. Stampy calls his new puppy to celebrate Christmas, and then follows the creeper outside of his clubhouse, continuing to follow it outside.
An unexpected seasons greetings[]
Stampy follows the creeper, having never met a friendly one before as his interactions usually instead lead to the creeper blowing up. Stampy follows the creeper into the theatre as he theorises that the mobs may have a truce and be friendly for the day. On the way, a spider that spawned in the theatre attacks the creeper, and Stampy attacks it in return, leading two of his dogs to kill him. Stampy finds that the spiders aren't friendly, and thinks that it's only the creeprs.
Upon entering the theatre stage, Stampy finds a giant creeper face, which he admires, and upon approaching it to analyse it in more detail, he finds that the backdrop features snowfall, and the creeper is wearing a Santa hat. Stampy sees a sign in front of the creeper face, reading that it says "Merry Xmas From all the Googlies", and feels assured by them wishing him as such, though they have spent the year destroying things instead. Stampy hears his dogs being hurt, and tries to give them food, and then finds that they are being hurt because they are being constantly battered with snowballs by Ank55, leading one of his dogs, Barnaby, into attacking and killing him in defense. Stampy scolds Ank55 for killing him, though he is aware Ank55 started the conflict.
Stampy thanks everyone who gave him an amazing Christmas, such as LONG bow X99, Ank55, and the mystery creeper, as well as his dogs, Henry, and Chicken. Stampy thanks the creeper for building the face, and wishes his audience a merry Christmas, hoping that they aren't just spending it playing Minecraft or video games in general. Though people may receive new games on the day, he recommends people to instead wait until Boxing Day to play, since Christmas is the day to spend time with those who gave presents and have been supporting for the year. Stampy recommends the people who don't celebrate Christmas anyway to take it as an opportunity to be merry and have fun, like he has done himself, and he wishes that all of his viewers have had as good a day as he has. Stampy decides to end the episode, concluding it with the line "Thanks for watching, everybody, and I will see you all later. Byeee!"
