"So if I just go and put, uh, all of these down here, uh, hopefully we can all have a quick nap, and if we're very quick, uh, we should be able to get away with being able to sleep out here on the lawn. [laughs] We're all gonna go and sleep outside, we're all gonna be rebellious, we're not gonna... uh, go to the safety of inside."
— Stampy intending to sleep outside during nighttime on the unfinished flower-themed capture the flag mini-game grounds.

"Flower Pot" is the 114th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy shows the final design of his Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop, and then fills in the floor as well as starting the team bases for the arena of a flower-themed capture the flag mini-game.

Plot[]

The three "ee"s & an episodic reproduction[]

Stampy opens the episode, introducing Henry, and then laughing comically over L for Leeeee x breaking the painting to hide the area behind. He speculates the two of them having gotten in a fight of some form, thinking the cause to be Henry stolen the cake. He decides to turn around and wait for Henry to place the cake on the floor after returning it back to L for Leeeee x, and after turning back around, Stampy sees the cake having been placed down, telling him not to steal cakes from L for Leeeee x after doing so because it's his job that he commits to at the beginning of every video. Stampy exits his bedroom and enters the main section also introduce Amy Lee33 and Amy Lee33, pointing out how their names have the same rhythmic use of "ee" sounds at the end by repeating them.

He journeys over to his Love Garden, intent on throwing some roses down in front of the sign, giving a shoutout to "Brian", whom he is unsure of the surname of. Stampy was sent a video by Brian who had produced a story based on when he met the aliens and entered their UFO. Stampy considered the book to be nice, also taking note that he had drawn it and illustrated it, noting that it reminds him of what he used to do when he was Brian's age by making story books, thinking it was something cool to be sent, thanking Brian for making it and welcoming him to the Love Garden, offering his viewers to check the video in full via the link in the description. At the doghouse, Stampy grows indecisive of who to pick, only for L for Leeeeee x to decide Fluffy for him, which he confirms he does indeed want to do. Stampy now has to journey over to the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop to pick her up, remarking on the irony of adding her into the pet shop only to take her out of it again, though he clarifies that he had promised to visit her, deciding that taking her outside would be nice for her.

However, Stampy firstly has to show the final design of the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop, showing the pet shop's full exterior from the distance, having shifted the crossbar of the "A" in the middle of the logo down, and then enters the interior to say that he hasn't particularly changed the interior as much as it was before, having switched the counter around to use wooden logs instead of planks, as well as adding a seat in the form of a minecart to have his view blocked by the stairs. In regards to the area at the back, which is a glass container, Stampy doesn't have any mobs spawning in the "Googlie Goods" area, despite them normally spawning anyway. Stampy has also added signs for the pens, listing off the "Crazy Cow Centre", the "Delightful Doggy Domain", the "Mushy Mooshroom Moments", the "Silly Sheep Selection", "Pretty Piggy Pen", and the "Clucking Chicken Collection", finding that he has obtained some eggs from the chicken inside and trying to spawn another chicken, only to fail. Stampy has also added chests, showing the mooshroom pen's chest to feature mushroom stew, which he decides to take for himself, as well as milk for the cow, seeds for the chicken, and wheat for the pig and sheep. He remarks on the fact that he had dyed the sheep pink to ease out the relationship of the pig and sheep. Out the back of the pet shop is a squid tank complete with water, the water of which added by L for Leeeee x, though iBallisticSquid himself has gone missing as he had left the tank when he realised he didn't like it.

Building fake lawn for a flower-themed capture the flag mini-game[]

As Stampy is about to leave, he recalls the reason he came to the pet shop in the first place in that he was planning to take Fluffy with him, and he then proceeds to the middle minecart station to explain his plan to journey over to Stampy's Funland to build another mini-game, which is a new mini-game he had made up himself, explaining it on the way. Stampy explains that he was planning a capture the flag mini-game for a while, which is a game where two bases need to go to each other's base and capture the other's flag to return back to their own, deciding to have a twist on it where it's about capturing a flower instead of a flag, which he thought was nicer and more suitable. He explains the two teams in that there will be a "Love Love" team and a "Sunkiss" team, both spawning in massive plant pots with their team flower in the plant pot above them, and they have to run around the map to capture as many flowers as possible and bring them to their base, with the one who captures the most flowers first wins. However, each team will have wooden swords and bows and arrows, meaning players can either capture the other team's flowers, or stop the opposite team from capturing their own team's flowers, the team can either played 1-to-4 versus.

At the building site itself, which is next to Road Hog and by a new path wrapping around behind the Top Paw Assault Course, Stampy shows the arena, marking it out with red and blue earlier to stay clear of the size, which is the dimensions of 50x43 as he recalls, allowing his viewers to build it themselves. Starting to dig away at the ground, Stampy explains the general theme in that the mini-game will be comparable to the Magic Garden Hunger Games, which is a Hunger Games map he had built with his friends, and the mini-game will be somewhat similar to the map. With the grass he is currently destroying, Stampy intends to transform it into that of a lawn, alternating between lime green and green across the area, after which he will start to build the flower pots. The mini-game will work in that the players will spawn in each flower pot with beds, meaning players will spawn in the plant pot upon dying, meaning that players can immediately return if killed by the other team, which he hopes to be fun. Digging away at the ground, Stampy finds some pistons down below in the ground, much to his confusion, realising that he was working out the size of the arena prior and tried to work out the mechanism, which is something else Stampy is required to do in that he has to add redstone, warning his viewers of doing so. The redstone will be rather simple, however, as it is simply a starting mechanism.

Suddenly, Stampy is given attention to L for Leeeee x to lead him to a sign reading "43 by 50:)" to confirm the size of the arena, praising himself for his memory after finding out that he is correct. Stampy decides he should start to add the lawn where he has dug so that he can start the plant pot once he has added enough. Stampy explains that there is a set of sheep dyed in different colours behind Shear Fun, allowing his helpers to continuously replenish. He repeats the pattern about the fake lawn, having a feasible amount in the form of around 40 lime wool blocks, which is nowhere near the amount to fill in the floor, meaning he will have to start on the pattern and then shear sheep after to gather more, recalling that there is a chest with extra lime green wool. Stampy explains the basic pattern in that there will be four of each type of green all the way across, making it appear as a freshly-mowed lawn. Additionally, with normal grass, animals can simply spawn directly on it, which only serves to hinder the mini-game itself while playing. Stampy notices Amy Lee33 having lagged out, hoping to be invited into the game again so she can continue helping.

Stampy had a test prior when working out the rules of the mini-game, he had built a rough version out of cobblestone in a superflat world, thinking it to be awful and messy, though it worked anyway and was fun to play even if it wasn't properly built, hoping the final version to be better. Building the first green row, Stampy continues with another twist in that players are able to capture their own flowers, meaning that once the game begins, the player can either capture the enemy team's flowers or their own, the latter meaning the team has to target their enemy's team to capture all of the flowers as the only way to win is to capture all of the flowers, as the mini-game isn't dependent on time and is about who can simply capture all of the flowers, six overall being scattered with two being by one team's base, and the other four randomly spread around the map, as well as towers and various flowers, hoping the mini-game will generally be cool and fun to play, though he is worried about how long building it will take as he has only done two rows despite the time it has taken him. Stampy decides he should work on the plant pot after finishing the row that he is currently doing. The basic plan is for the plant pot to be a giant plant pot with dirt in it that the player can set down their flowers on, as well as some redstone mechanism of sorts, and in the next episode, Stampy will continue laying out the mini-game, though he is unsure as to what that will actually particularly be, or the materials he will use, deciding to make it up as he goes along with it.

Building the exterior of the first plant pot base for a flower-themed capture the flag mini-game[]

Stampy stands outside the general perimeter of the arena to judge the position of the plant pot, the base size of the plant pot being by six. Stampy counts up to each side to check if each side is the same, and it turns out that it is. Stampy crafts some beds tin order to sleep to prevent the mobs from spawning, adding the beds down onto the outside ground, not deciding to go inside. Eventually, the game resets to day without any creepers spawning nearby, much to his surprise, and he continues building the plant pot by judging the size of the general base. Stampy counts six along each side, but when finally determining the actual size of the plant pot, he ends up counting by seven due to the odd length of the arena. Stampy then expands out the middle area besides the edges on each side to emulate the goal of a plant pot shape, since they aren't a perfect cube. Stampy adds that he wishes plant pots to Xbox 360 Edition as there are plant pots on the PC Edition, thinking them to look awesome and wishing them to be in the game itself.

Stampy continues determining the size of the plant pot, and finally reaches a conclusion on the size, starting to build up. He explains the basic logistics in that there will be a doorway at the start of the game that will open up, and a block pushed up from the ground that allows the player to climb a ladder on the back wall to allow the player to either climb up or walk out of the front, which is to stop people from standing in the corner and surprise attacking, meaning there are only two methods of escape, one of them allowing to attack spawn campers from above. Stampy adds that the mini-game is fun according to his test games, and is extremely determined to build it due to this, thinking that his viewers will enjoy watching him play it, potentially doing a full tournament video of it. Stampy wonders how he should name the battle mini-game, thinking against "Capture the Flower" and more along the line of "Pick the Flowers", overall deciding to leave it to his viewers to suggest names for the mini-game, leaving them as a comment so he can read them as inspiration. Stampy adds onto this in regards to him having ideas in that he actually creates everything collaboratively, with helpers and his viewers suggesting concepts, making it easier to come up with ideas.

Stampy ends up building the flower pot to six blocks high, which he considers lucky for himself as he is about to run out of brown wool to build it, never mind him having to build one on the opposite side. Looking over, he sees his helpers having progressed forward in regards to the fake lawn in the mini-game, thinking it looks appealing in the form of a fake lawn. In terms of the boundary, which is the wall wrapping out the mini-game, the materials will consist of coloured wool and glass, going in a wool-glass-glass-wool-glass-glass-wool format with red on the main side and yellow on the opposite side so it defines the difference between Love Love and Sunkiss, and so it's clear which side is for which team no matter the distance to prevent confusion. Adding a rim around the plant, Stampy notices Amy Lee33 has been trying to get his attention to read a sign she wrote, intending to read it as he knows he will get distracted and forget his primary task. Stampy is about to deem the plant pot complete before he realises that he had missed a side out, commenting that it's difficult due to his ability to reach, and then runs out brown wool, requiring him to replenish a stack via the supplies chest. Stampy praises the fact that sheep can be sheared now, as when he first started, he had to punch them to receive their wool, and only once, finding it easier to gather wool in masses.

Building the interior of the first plant pot base for a flower-themed capture the flag mini-game[]

After completing the basic plant pot shape, Stampy turns around to see the sign that Amy Lee33 wrote, reading "the war of the roses!!" with a rose planted next to it, a name that he finds to work at first, as though it's some form of battle. However, Stampy decides the name doesn't work due to one side being based on roses, finding it to be unfair on the Sunkiss team. To save face, Stampy says that he is aware of her being a devotee to roses, and that she is practically the team captain of Team Love Love, bringing him flowers per every episode introduction. He still considers her suggestion a working suggestion regardless, however, even recommending "Hippie Battle" as a name as he targets the idea of hippie power when fighting with a sword. Having opened up the flower pot, Stampy decides to recycle the beds he had crafted during the sleep for the plant pots, and then starts to replace the floor with brown wool to match the plant pot, planning to add beds, chests, and cake, the last choice being due to him placing cake everywhere, and because it completely revives the player's hunger level. In spite of this, however, the food won't be included in the arena in order to maintain the pace of the mini-game, such as when someone is camping for ages and staying alive and they get exaggeratively hungry. Stampy states that he hopes the viewers enjoy the mini-game, recommending his viewers create their own variants, believing the overall concept to work and the layouts to be manipulated easily.

With the floor completed, Stampy starts to place down the beds directly next to each other, crafting two double chests for each side with one containing bows and arrows and the other containing wooden sword, additionally adding the template for the piston exit, making sure that they are lifted up in order for the pistons to block the player, meaning that the mini-game begins upon the descent of the pistons, allowing the player to dash out into the battlefield afterward. At the back of the flower pot, Stampy crafts some ladders to serve as an access point, deciding to use a duo ladder layout due to his inexperience with ladders, stopping the ladders two blocks above the primary floor, demonstrating that it is impossible with the blocks raised and the blocks lowered. He also adds two miniature platforms for the cakes, which he substitutes with bread, and then decides to begin the redstone.

Stampy thinks to craft a "thinking cap", only to find the doesn't have the iron to create an iron helmet, and decides to simply start building regardless. He starts by laying out the general location of the pistons, the back wall pistons being a block lower than the front pistons, and Stampy crafts a redstone torches to serve as a test. Demonstrating the general location of the lever first, Stampy digs down and adds a redstone torch next to the piston to show how the mechanism on the back wall works, and Stampy then comments on how he thinks that the mini-game looks cool as it is.

Lastly, Stampy has to add dirt to the roof upon climbing to the top, with it being on the very top layer so the player is able to lay their flowers out in a row, intending to add some form of system to signify the winner, such as a button to play a song or a redstone lamp to light up the area, otherwise leading players to misunderstand when the mini-game begins and ends. Stampy explains his plans for the next episode in that he will build the giant Lovely Jubbley Love Love Petals flower on the side he is currently on, with the Sunkiss side copying the idea. Upon pointing out the sides, Stampy notices that he has done the opposite side in blue instead of yellow as intended, realising he spent time shearing blue sheep for no reason. Regardless, Stampy acknowledges the progress made on the floor itself, with his helpers having completed the fake lawn, which he admires, taking notice of the fact that one is missing where L for Leeeeee x's sign is.

Stampy decides to gather a reference rose from below to mark where the giant flower will be on the top, admiring the progress made by himself and his helpers, doing so for himself with the motive of not wasting the entirety of the episode. After planting the rose, Stampy tells his viewers to imagine it x1,000 bigger, and then deems that he has run out of time, thanking his helpers, his viewers for watching, Fluffy for sticking with him and staying safe, as well as Henry for amusing him at the beginning of the episode, and then ends the episode with the line "And thank you to... anyone else that is involved in this video, and most importantly, of course, thank you very much for you, uh, for spending the last 20 minutes of your life enjoying, uh, some time inside of my Lovely World, and I will see you guys, in the next video. Byeee!"
