The Pew! Pew! Shooting Range is the third building and shooting range in Stampy's Funland.
Appearance[]
The Pew! Pew! Shooting Range is located near the front of the Funland, next to the Creeper Coaster and across the road from Googlies Manor. Players enter the attraction through a stone brick and wood building, where they can pick up their bows and arrows. Players then enter a wooden platform, where a timer is set. The main shooting range is encased by iron bars and brick pillars, where the targets are located. There are four types of targets: Aliens, Zombies, Evil Slugs (minecarts) and Evil Snails (minecarts with chests). Obstacles that can deduct from a player's score include a turtle, a penguin, a moose and a unicorn.
The Zombies are said to have risen from the graveyard located near the back of the shooting range, which itself is part of a deteriorated church. The headstones in the graveyard have various pun-inspired names, such as "Bob Along", "Ilene Sideways" and "Phil DeGrave". Next to the church, a UFO brings with it various Aliens. The Evil Slugs and Evil Snails are said to have come from the "Pit of Hell", which is depicted as a fiery pit located next to the UFO.
Gameplay[]
The aim of the Pew! Pew! Shooting Range is to score the highest amount of points possible within a limited time period. The Aliens are worth one point, the Zombies are worth two points and the Evil Slugs and Evil Snails are both worth three points each. The animals, if hit, cause the player to lose a point. The targets were originally paintings placed on colored wool blocks; a single painting for zombies and a double painting for aliens. Lag on the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft caused by an overwhelming number of signs, paintings and item frames, and Stampy constantly reaching the limit of placing paintings in a world on the Console Edition, however, meant the paintings had to be replaced by redstone lamps with wooden buttons. Because of this, the game was ranked number seven of the list of Stampy's Top 10 Broken Mini-games. Unlike the other mini-games in that list, the mechanics of the game remain the same, but the aliens and zombies are much harder to hit.
