"It looks like I've blown the entire place up. Sorry, Lee, I br- I broke your little scary room down here...!" |
— Stampy after accidentally triggering a creeper to explode within an underground area that L for Leeeee x had built for the purpose of scaring his friends on Halloween. |
"Pumpkin Party" is the 133rd episode of Stampy's Lovely World, and the first Halloween-themed episode. In this episode, it's Halloween 2013, and Stampy goes trick or treating with various helpers, plays on a Halloween-themed mini-game dubbed "Pumpkin Party", and then rides on Googlies Manor.
Plot[]
Halloween makeover & a fan artist with a prediction ability[]
Stampy opens the episode, speaking in a pseudo-demonic voice as he describes the episode as "extra spooky" what with it being a Halloween special, committing himself to a psuedo-evil laugh before returning to his normal laughter. He then gives everyone a happy Halloween and that it will be a scary episode, advising his viewers to hide under their blankets, and takes not of how L for Leeeee x isn't present in the introduction sequence due to being at his own house which he will then trick-or-treat with later, meaning that he only has to eat the cake that has been left on the table in the corner for a long time, of which it has gone moldy. Stampy reluctantly tries to eat it, only to give up on it and decide to eat something else later. Due to being Halloween, Stampy shows that the world has been decorated to fit Halloween, his bed being replaced with a coffin and his chest being a monster. In terms of his costume, Stampy has decided to dress as a clown, of which is diamond armour in the texture pack, including every element besides a helmet and making him into "Stampy Cat the Clown".
Now having been dressed up, Stampy has decided to to travel around his world to all of his friends and trick-or-treat with them. Before doing so, however, Stampy has to show Henry and Hilda in Henry and Hilda's room also having dressed up themselves, Stampy pointing out how he apparently sits in the same seat all of the time. Considering him scary as he is, Stampy notes that Henry has simply added a scarf to himself. However, Hilda has changed her appearance and changed into Frakenstein's monster, which he considers to look awesome, and decides against trick-or-treating with them due to to them never giving him anything. Now moving onto the Love Garden, Stampy sees Fred in his crafting room as Slenderman, and then proceeds to give a shoutout to "Matthew Chung" for commenting on practically all of his videos, as well as sending him multiple sets of fanart. The main reason for adding him, however, is due to him recommending what he was planning for his Halloween special, with a comment reading "Happy Halloween Stampylongnose! I have a special video request, on your October 30th video, maybe you can go trick or treating in your village, then you can go and host a Halloween party in your clubhouse. Then, with some editing magic, you can scheme a plot that will lead you to Googlys' Manor and have some frights! Byeeeeeeee!", after which he thanks him and welcomes him to the Love Garden.
Trick or treat[]
Stampy then decides to leave his Love Garden, though not before remarking on the scenery around him, commenting on the appearance of his mob trap, as well as how the sky is orange with purple clouds, finding it to simply be different to normal. Firstly, Stampy goes to visit iBallisticSquid's house, though not before preparing a bucket, which he hopes to fill by the end of the episode. Arriving at iBallisticSquid's house, Stampy knocks on his door for him to open it, only to accidentally attack him due to it being opened. He asks iBallisticSquid of what he has in mind of whether it's a trick or a treat. It turns out to be the latter, as he pours water, or rather what is supposed to be water, on top of Stampy, to his disgust, deducing that he had a trick in mind instead, shaming himself for not having guessed as such. iBallisticSquid then gives him a cake, which he considers to be the treat, deciding to ignore it and choose L for Leeeee x's cakes anyway, being "Stampy's Hot Buns branded", though he will have the "fizzy drink", or rather swiftness potion, that was given to him in order to travel around his world quickly.
Journeying through the first row of his town, Stampy comments on the appearance of his world, though he likes it, and he decides to enter the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop to see the changes in regards to them as well, seeing the various forms of costumes that the animals inside have switched into. Stampy nearly fails to recognise a mooshroom, and sees the cow next to it as some form of "Devil cow", leaving the pet shop afterwards. Stampy also introduces Miss MCXBLA, and clarifies L for Leeeee x to indeed be present in the episode as well, being inside of his moose house. Stampy decides to call for Miss MCXBLA first in the hopes of not receiving a trick like the one iBallisticSquid had given him, proceeding to knock on the door of her house. Upon opening it, Stampy is scared by her costume, seeing her to be a ghost with a clown mask, and she gives him Oreos, or rather cookies, as well as a golden apple, thanking her for doing so.
Stampy then moves onto the final house, which is L for Leeeee x, who appears to have switched to Hit The Target's skin to scare Stampy and lead him to attack. Scornfully, he asks L for Leeeee x if it was his intended costume, and he proceeds to then switch to his real costume, commenting that being Hit The Target is something he shouldn't do due to the trouble he has had with him, surmising that he has had two tricks and one treat, which he is simply finding to be fair enough. Stampy asks L for Leeeee x if he wishes to play on "Pumpkin Party", referring to a mini-game, only for L for Leeeee x to open up a hole in the floor and drop both himself and iBallisticSquid down, to his surprise.
A strange encounter & Pumpkin Party[]
Attempting to escape, Stampy pulls a lever leading to an area underneath, additionally triggering "13" to play, and upon climbing down, he sees a mysterious pumpkin face in the darkness, offering iBallisticSquid to enter in first, and then gathers some torches to light up the area, finding there to be a creeper ghost present in the room as well, which he attacks and ends up causing to blow up anyway, destroying the room. Stampy apologises for doing so, and with his other two helpers having followed, Stampy compliments L for Leeeee x on the design choices, considering it to be a terrifying room. Desperate to simply journey to the Pumpkin Party in question, he journeys further inside in a desperate attempt to escape, only to encounter a room filled with cake on the floor and cake on the walls, which he desires for regardless of how they appear as in the texture pack.
Stampy then climbs up with the intention of playing the Pumpkin Party, explaining that he has designed a new mini-game especially for his Halloween special featuring himself, iBallisticSquid and L for Leeeee x against one another with Miss MCXBLA serving as the adjudicator. To start, he decides he should describe the basic rules, of which he notes as sounding complicated at first, hoping it eventually makes sense. The basic process of the mini-game is that each player starts in a lane, and in a chest is the materials required to grow a pumpkin, then needing to break through the "Banished Bush" to end up in pits of water to gain apples which are then thrown down into a pit to raise a block to reach a chest above to reach "a tail of a moose", and then climb up the "Tower of Terror" by enabling and disabling trapdoors to reach the top and access the "Pumpkin Princess", of whom the player then has to give a kiss to also gather a bow and arrow from a chest, then dropping down a hole directing into the pit of water to then run over further to shoot an arrow at the "Pumpkin Prince" in order to dislodge a painting and drop it onto a set of pressure plates, then triggering a block to raise in order to get over the fence blocking the player off from the location of the archery target in order to reach the moose and add its tail, the quickest to do it all winning. However, if done with a pumpkin on one's head, the player gains bonus points depending on whether or not it grows.
With the mini-game surmised, Stampy asks his helpers to empty their inventory into some nearby chests along with his own, minus a set of three apples, as well as a dirt block to enter the mini-game for the apples themselves. Climbing on top of the leaf blocks, Stampy proceeds to throw the apples into the water one each, and then tells his helpers to start in one of the lanes, him deciding on the middle, though it doesn't particularly mater which one as they are all the same, and tells Miss MCXBLA to start the mini-game when ready. The mini-game starts, and Stampy immediately gathers the materials from the chest, planting the pumpkin seeds to then grow it with bonemeal, using the hoe to surround the pumpkin with extra dirt. He proceeds to break through the Banished Bush, giving it some form of backstory where it had prickled those who had walked past it, and then gathers the apple from the water. In regards to the potential of him drowning in the water, Stampy clarifies that dying, failing, or generally lagging out leads to failure. With the apple, he then props up the block to obtain "the tail of the moose", and then starts to climb up the Tower of Terror as he admires the progress made by his helpers. Stampy climbs them slowly until the three of them end up matching in progress instead, going slowly as he is due to the extreme pressure of the other contestants. Though he states to remember in spite of not having said before, he adds that the pumpkin removes 30 seconds, meaning that even if he is slow on the trapdoor tower, he is still able to win if obtaining the pumpkin. Still climbing to the top, Stampy remarks once again that he and his helpers are all on the same progress once again, believing his helpers to be traveling up the tower at his pace, advising his helpers to kiss the Pumpkin Princess at the top, which he will watch the others do to verify.
Once at the top, Stampy gives the Pumpkin Princess a kiss and then gathers his bow and arrow, carefully dropping into the water below with L for Leeeee x being seen doing the same on his left, and to his surprise, he manages to survive the drop, though he and L for Leeeee x are on the same capacity of progress. Curiously, Stampy wonders if his pumpkin has grown, needing to verify it so he can wear it on his head. With the bow and arrow, Stampy now tries to shoot the painting in the archery stage, which he succeeds at. However, the painting fails to land on the pressure plates, thereby preventing him from jumping over the fence, requiring him to throw another item. Desperately, Stampy tries to find his pumpkin and whether or not it has grown, discovering that he is unable to progress due to the painting failing to land on the pressure plates. After using a hoe item, he tries to break the leaf blocks in order to gather a sapling or apple, theorising that he may also be able to win the mini-game if he wears the pumpkin regardless of his other helpers already having crossed the finish line.
After his final failure, Stampy accepts tat he has failed the mini-game and that he has no other potential solutions in mind, considering even throwing his bow, only then fully accepting his circumstances. With her being the adjudicator, Stampy decides the order of the winnings as L for Leeee x being first place and iBallisticSquid being second place, though none of them had worn a pumpkin as evidenced by the pumpkins not growing. Stampy shows a podium made to theme, first place standing on gold, second place standing on iron, and third place inside of a cauldron, where Stampy himself ends up in, sarcastically calling himself out for ending up in third place. Stampy comments on his painting inconvenience as annoying due to being set to win in the first place, accepting it anyway as his other helpers had deserved the win anyway.
Concluding the winners, Stampy sees Miss MCXBLA judging the times, curious as to what he will write down for himself as he didn't actually complete the mini-game, though he accepts it anyway due to it being fun. Stampy wonders the prizes gained depending on the positioning, and he searches in the chest containing his inventory contents to give as a prize to his helpers. He decides he should give L for Leeeee x a golden apple with himself and iBallisticSquid having the cookies, or Oreos, that he was given by Miss MCXBLA. He gives L for Leeeee x the golden apple as planned, as well as iBallisticSquid's cookie. With the times being written down, Stampy reads out that iBallisticSquid managed to win in 3 minutes, with L for Leeeee x winning in 2 minutes and 13 seconds, and Stampy had simply not finished, though he had fun regardless.
The journey through Googlies Manor[]
With the Pumpkin Party mini-game complete, the next plan is to enter Stampy's Funland to enter Googlies Manor as planned, of which most of his viewers may or may not know of depending on when they started to watch him, which is essentially a haunted house he had built a long time ago, and with the Halloween texture pack, it is expected by him to look better than it usually does, finding that time to be right to look at it again. Upon approach, Stampy remarks L for Leeeee x to look eager compared to him, trying to ender pearl over to Googlies Manor to enter in firstly. On the outside, Stampy shows the exterior, saying the building appears as a scary face with teeth, and the building contains various rooms.
Entering inside, Stampy advises his viewers to hide under a blanket in case they are scared, already hearing zombies growling. In the first room, Stampy points out a set of paintings featuring a door opening and closing, leading into a dining room for hostile mobs, of which there are meant to be certain ones present as they fall down via the ceiling and enter the seats, thinking their absence is due to them also trick-or-treating. In the third room, Stampy shows there to be a witch's room of sorts with arrows and a jack-o-lantern, then showing a corridor to a cake that drops the player down into a dungeon underneath, where Stampy finds a zombie, though the zombie isn't attacking. With it being completely pale, Stampy finds it to look terrifying regardless, curious as to why there is a zombie wandering around underneath Googlies Manor. In the dungeon, Stampy shows an "evil snow golem" of sorts, along with a room absent, "Evil Mr. Pork Chop", half skeleton-half pig. In the final and only accessible cell, the player than travels up to a child's bedroom featuring a model of Evil Mr. Pork Chop with ghosts floating around, which leads into a creeper's bedroom where the lights are then disabled upon entry, after which Googlies Manor is concluded.
Stampy is aware that most of his viewers will have seen it before if watching his videos, having decided to simply return into it due to being the appropriate time to do so, remarking on the various sounds of the hostile mobs once again. He then announces the end of the episode, adding that he hopes his viewers enjoyed it and that they are having a Halloween themselves, and that if they are trick-or-treating, they receives confectionery, as well as generally having a "good and spooky Halloween". Stampy then ends the episode with the line "Uh, but that's the end of this video. I wanna thank you all very much for watching, and I will see you all later. Byeeee!"
