"Revelation" is the 76th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, while gathering materials from a nether fortress for his secret base, Stampy encounters a familiar posthumous enemy.
Plot[]
The plan to gather Nether materials in TU9[]
Stampy opens the episode, greeting Ester and reminding his viewers of when he got her for Easter. Ester hasn't appeared in a video since he has let her run around his house, and has returned back to his balcony since. Leaving his bedroom, Stampy announces what he will do in the current video, doing something different to his normal routine of just building things, and is instead doing an actual Let's Play episode of Minecraft, deciding to visit the Nether for potion materials. Since he is playing in TU9, now having it, Stampy now has the update and will make the most of it, gathering blaze rods for brewing stations, nether warts for a nether wart farm. Stampy gives a shoutout to "Charlotte Brewer", who he thinks he has added to the Love Garden before, being given a massive case of déjà vu, and he thinks that he is going mad, believing himself to have recognised her as she comments on his videos often. Stampy says that he is adding her because she made a live-action video acting out what he does in Minecraft with her sister called "10 Things Stampy Does In Minecraft", though they didn't quite get to 10 and made it to 5 before running out of time. Stampy thinks the video to be funny and how it made him laugh, also making fun of his bad jokes and general inability to do things in Minecraft. Stampy thanks Charlotte Brewer for the video, and then prepares himself for the Nether. Stampy firstly crafts some armour, telling his viewers to look away as he equips it and then going into a corner and then push the camera into his face. In spite of this, the viewers see his skin in his inventory anyway as he wears it, having full iron armour. Stampy admires his appearance, arming his diamond sword and playing with it. Stampy then visits his brewing room with the intention of enchanting his sword, which he notes he never usually does. Stampy notes his levels, having 20 of them, previously having 40 levels before he died, and then ventures into his enchanting room to position his diamond sword and then test the most valuable cost. Ending up on 18, he picks it, ending up with "Bane of Arthropods III", which he has no idea of, and "Fire Aspect I", joking about how it is technically useless since everything is fire in the Nether anyway.
Stampy leaves his enchanting room and goes down underneath is nether portal room, explaining the plan of the video in that he will mainly find a nether fortress so he can gather blaze rods for brewing stands for his secret base, since he will be building a research center in his secret base so he can research new weapons in order to fend off Hit The Target, who he notes he has been seeing ghostly hauntings of, and will develop some form of protection to defend against Hit The Target in his ghostly form. Stampy enters his nether portal and is transported to the Nether as he revises his pirorities, needing some blaze rods, nether wart, and potentially magma cream as well.
Entering the Nether and exploring for materials with blaze attacks[]
Stampy ends up spawning directly next to a nether fortress, admiring the new appearance, though he thinks everything appears exactly the same minus the bridges from the fortresses. Due to TU9. there is now an option to reset the Nether, and is now finding what everyone else has possessed for a long time. Stampy informs his viewers of if he will go to the End, Stampy explains that he can't unless he uses creative mode, which he doesn't want to do, and is creating a series with iBallisticSquid where he kills the Ender Dragon, offering his viewers to check it out in a link in the description as he destroys a glowstone cluster nearby. Stampy realises that he could gather up all of the useful materials he has, and then reset the Nether so he can repeat the process, since it's in an easy place to gather. Stampy explains that the entire point of the video is to gather materials, since most of his videos are mostly him just building and playing, and he is instead recommended by his viewers to do something typical like cut down trees instead, which he questions why his viewers find exciting, which is techncially what he is doing in the present video. With the series he is making with iBallisticSquid, he will essentially commit to just that as he has a "cushy" life in Minecraft since he has food, helpers and a nice house, meaning he is basically set for the game, thinking it to be nice to start from the beginning.
Seeing a nether fotress distantly, Stampy desires to reach it, seeing multiple bridges but not the actual nether fotress itself. Stampy decides he should pile something up to reach the bridge, and then remarks on the music in the background, which is "Dead Voxel" by C418, considering it to be "ominous but not really", which is unlike normal Minecraft music, considering it to be more mystical, an element he likes, comparing it to Pink Floyd. Nerdpoling up with dirt to the bridge next to him, Stampy says that he would listen to music like this if he wasn't playing Minecraft, with the music now being in Minecraft. Since he has a gap between himself and the bridge, Stampy states that he has to be careful, since it's where the blaze are present. Stampy hears the sound of breathing in the background, and concludes it to be a ghast, though it's actually a blaze.
Reaching the fortress bridge, Stampy walks across, pointing out some lava flowing towards him, and that if he were slightly to the right, he would have easily walked into it. Stampy arms his diamond sword, and decides to eat a porkchop, noting how he has his necessities in hand. Stampy decides to save the cake he has for a celebration when he leaves, and then comes across a crossroads for the nether fortress, interesting him due to never having seen one before, though he has in actuality, but in other peoples' worlds. In this case, he has it in his own world. Stampy investigate the corridors, and eventually finds some blaze at the end of a hallway, and shows that he regrets not bring a bow and arrow with him so he could fire it at them. Stampy sees another blaze accompanied by a blaze spawner, urged to retrieve a torch, only for the blaze to approach him due to standing directly in front of it. Stampy kills the blaze, and then questions why he is attacking blaze with a weapon that sets them on fire. Suddenly, he is successfully hit by a blaze, alerting him, and he escapes to safety, considering refraining from fighting them as they may kill him.
Stampy blocks off the entry to the blaze, and states that he requires at least one of them so he can gain blaze rods. Stampy blocks off one of the paths for the blazes, and then kills one from around the corner, and stands directly in front of the blazes again, causing one of them to attack him. Stampy decides to block off the other entrance upon finding that they may kill him again, considering the one blaze rod he has to be enough. The blaze confronts him again, and then shoots at him again. Stampy wonders why he didn't bring a "Minecraft slave" with him, and then proceeds to flee when one of them manages to exceed past the barrier. The fire brings Stampy down to two health points, which he tries to remedy by blocking off the entire area where the blaze spawn. Stampy describes the blaze as "evil", remarking on how they consistently spawned, and then blocks the tunnel with blaze rods.
Stampy continues to explore, finding a lava container inside, joking about having a bath in it, or even cooking his porkchops in it. Stampy decides to move away from the miniature lava pool, and then finds the nether warts that he so desired, setting down torches on the walls, saying that it has to grow on soul sand, gathering it up with the plan to return it back home, as since TU9, the player can grow nether warts in the Overworld, since it could still be obtained. Stampy poitns out why he isn't gathering the soul sand in that he has a big enough supply anyway, and is then hesitant to gather it due to the possibility of there being lava underneath. Stampy finds that there isn't and proceeds to gather it so he can return it back and grow a nether wart farm. Stampy wonders how much he received, finding that he had gathered two stacks, but decided that he only needed one nether wart so he could keep growing it and gather more instead.
Encountering Hit The Target again & the evil Stampylongnose[]
After going into the next room with nether warts, Stampy walks upstairs in interest, though he is alerted by a zombie pigman, describing that they attack all at once if one is hit, and they are docile at first. Stampy sees fire on the other side of one of the windows, interesting him, and he ventures over to the general area where it is. Stampy finds it cool how he is in an actual nether fotress, and then turns the corner to find Hit The Target, shocking him greatly as he pulls out his arrow, to which Stampy questions why he is in Hell. Stampy recalls that when he killed him, he had sent him to the Nether, and upon calling him "the evil Hit The Target", the enemy in question suddenly talks, describing Stampy as "the evil Stampylongnose". Stampy asks him to repeat it, doing so, and he responds by telling Hit The Target that he is the actual evil one for stealing all of his dogs and taking over his world. Hit The Target tells Stampy that he was actually trying to save his dogs, and Stampy wonders what from. Hit The Target responds that he was trying to save his dogs from Stampy himself, due to the amount of dog deaths overtime. Stampy tells him that they were accidental and he loves his dogs and didn't want them to be hurt. Stampy wonders how he can hear Hit The Target in the first place, since he had seen him die before due to killing him. Hit The Target explains that Stampy will be able to hear his thoughts while in the Nether.
Upon hearing Hit The Target's explanation, Stampy says that the rivalry was a misunderstanding and that he was trying to save his dogs from himself and save his world, to which Stampy apologises for killing him. Hit The Target tells him that it's okay, and offers Stampy to stay in the Nether for dinner, to which Stampy eagerly agrees. He is led to a dining set made by Hit The Target which Stampy admires, and he asks what there is to eat. hit The Target offers spider eyes and rotten flesh, much to Stampy's disgust, and he tries to excuse that he isn't hungry. Hit The Target sees through this, asking if Stampy expected cake. Stampy then recalls that he had cake with him the whole time, deciding to set it down as Hit The Target proclaims that he also loves cake, to which Stampy replies that he and Hit The Target have "so much in common". They decide they should have a cake party, and he offers that he and Hit The Target have dinner parties more often. With this in mind, Stampy offers he returns back to his world and give him a tour of everything, as well as introducing him to all of his dogs, even offering to be in some of his videos. Hit The Target accepts the offer, and then reminds Stampy that he is "kind of dead" since he did kill him. Stampy expresses regret once more, and wonders if there is a way to return him. Hit The Target explains that there is one way to return him. If Stampy kills him again like he did to take him to the Nether, killing him again would return him to the surface. Stampy accepts the offer, wincing as he attacks Hit The Target with his bare hand while Hit The Target recommends he uses his sword, and he is eventually killed in the Nether, dropping his inventory contents that Stampy then picks back up.
Returning back to his nether portal, Stampy notes that he had killed Hit The Target again, correcting himself that he has actually resurrected him since he was killed in the Nether, and should respawn in the Overworld again. Stampy expresses that he can't believe the event that he had experienced, calling it a "massive revelation", pointing out that he was thinking Hit The Target is evil, only to find that he was saving his dogs from Stampy himself as he believed him to be killing them intentionally. Stampy attempts to navigate himself back to where he entered the fortress from, and eventually finds the correct tunnel. Stampy stands up on his nerdpole as he repeats again that he can't believe the event that occurred, since he has spent a long time to prepare for Hit The Target to invade, even with Stampy's Secret Base, as the entire point of it is to defend against Hit The Target in case he attacked him, finding that it was a waste of time. Stampy offers alternatives to building the secret base, offering up alternatives like "Stampy's Research Center". Stampy believes this doesn't matter since he found Hit The Target and that he is friendly again, feeling "nice". He compares it to when he first joined his world and thought he was evil, and believes he spent the entire time defending himself from Stampy, thinking that he was the enemy. Stampy once again says that it doesn't matter as he can meet Hit The Target in his world again, and they can run around fields together, and have days out in Stampy's Funland, have cake together, and can overall have him as his new best friend. Stampy states the revelation has put him in a good mood, and he tells a ghast to go away with urgency, telling it that he doesn't care about it or its fireballs as he deflects one of them back at it. Stampy also states that he doesn't care about zombie pigmen either due to Hit The Target being friendly, and he returns back to the Overworld via his nether portal as he tells the ghast to go away again.
Returning Hit The Target to the Overworld[]
Having returned to Stampy's Lovely World, he returns back up to the main floor on the search for him, wondering if he is in his house as he calls for him. Stampy realises that he can't hear Hit The Target due to being in the Overworld, since he was hearing his thoughts in the Nether rather than this words, which necessitates him to find him instead. Stampy goes to look for Hit The Target while ascending in his waterfall, only to turn around and find Hit The Target directly behind him anyway, being shocked by him and preparing to attack him, though he apologises after and calls it a habit. Stampy welcomes Hit The Target to his house and world, aware that he has been on a "holiday" for sometime, apologising for killing him again. Stampy wonders where the doghouse is, mistaking the mine as the entrance to the area where it generally is, and advises Hit The Target to watch out for hostile mobs due to it being night and he doesn't want either of them to be attacked in case Hit The Target dies again. Stampy apologises one final time for killing him, and then introduces Hit The Target to the entrance of his doghouse, entering into it with preparations to show them off.
Stampy advises that he has not intentionally killed them, a few of them dying accidentally, and he says that he has never tried to intentionally kill them. Stampy walks into his doghouse to show them off, introducing Barnaby, Arrow, Flippy, Bengy, Arrow, Fluffy, Benton, Aqua, Spring, Gregory Jr., The Arbiter, Oreo and Duncan, describing the sleuth of dogs as "the whole gang", though Fluffy is on "the boat", Gregory Jr. is at "the golf course", and Oreo is at the minecart station. After introducing them, Stampy states that he has no idea what to do first, planning to have a day out in Stampy's Funland and ride around in the SS Stumpy, and generally tour his world, with Hit The Target being given the opportunity to join him in all of his videos, which Stampy considers to be fun.
Stampy decides that the time for the video has run out, and he will have a dinner party with Hit The Target. He hopes that his viewers enjoyed the video and found it entertaining, and he had fun making it. Due to running out of time, Stampy gives Hit The Target is sword or bow and arrow as long as he promises not to attack or haunt him again. Stampy repeats that he has run out of time for the video, and then ends the episode with the line "Thanks very much for watching, and I will see you later. Byeeee!"
