""Come... to... myyyy.... shop"! You know, they always try and be fancy with their adverts and try and come up with clever jingles and stuff, all you need, is straight to the point, "Come to my shop", and that will get people curious enough." |
— Stampy while advertising Stampy's Overwear. |
"Slippery Shoplifter" is the 105th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy and L for Leeeee x finish the interior of Stampy's Overwear by adding the displays and stocks for the featured clothing, and then proceed to advertise it in order to gain customers.
Plot[]
Return of the bear & a great Stampy's Hot Buns[]
Stampy opens the episode, saying that he is in a good mood, wondering why he is, and that he hopes that his viewers will be in one too by the end of the episode. In reference to that, Stampy introduces L for Leeeee x, whom is holding a cake as the enters through the painting, ecstatic to see him. Stampy welcomes him back to Stampy's Lovely World, asking if he had a good holiday, and whether he danced, confirming that he did and dancing afterwards upon request. Stampy sees L for Leeeee x having given him a cake, which he thanks him for giving, saying that he had missed it. Stampy states that there was indeed a cake left in the room above for him as he recalls, but the cake was somewhat stale once he got to eating it, and ate the entirety of it in the first day and went hungry. Regardless, Stampy still finds it appealing how he is once again in his world and is prepared to help him.
Stampy then journeys over to his Love Garden, explaining that he will continue building Stampy's Overwear like he was in the previous episode, his clothes shop that he believes to be named badly, and claiming that he wishes to finish it entirely within the present video. Firstly, however, Stampy has to give a shoutout to "Matthew Marvel" who built a Stampy's Hot Buns due to a competition he set up where his viewers send him pictures of their renditions, the best one being added to his Love Garden and deciding on the one that he did as he thought it was awesome due to having a big sign of himself and L for Leeeeee x, saying that Matthew Marvel deserves to be added to the Love Garden for building something like it. Stampy notes that he had many suggestions, entries, pictures, and tours, being blown away by how many people joined, making it difficult for him to pick a winner, though his stood out from the crowd. Stampy is offered to take Flippy by L for Leeeee x, who he notes is a brute that is capable of protecting his helpers from the mobs throughout the video, though he dismisses the idea of it happening, considering the video to be potentially calm and peaceful instead.
Building the inwards displays for Stampy's Overwear[]
Journeying over to Stampy's Overwear, Stampy says that he isn't going adventuring, battling, or mining, and is instead building a clothes shop. Entering inside, Stampy shows the progress made since the previous episode, having modified the floor from brick, replacing it with wooden planks instead as clothes shops more typically have the flooring type in the real world, which he claims he likes. Stampy starts to add displays for windows which he will add and make his outfits, having formed some ideas for outfits, of which he considers silly and will eventually show off later in the episode. Stampy carves out the hole for the left window, planning to build the display first. Due to the floor being the default dirt, Stampy states that he needs oak wood planks, wondering if there are any around the area, and he instead ends up requesting L for Leeeee x to give him some, which he does in masses for Stampy to pick up and craft into wooden planks. Stampy replaces the floor with wooden planks in order to serve as a base for the shop, stating that he doesn't want to have dirt seen through the glass of the window.
Having opened the hole for the window display, Stampy starts to build the displays, using spruce planks to build a 4-block tall pillar which he will then assign item frames to in order to serve as clothing, ordering it in the typical manner they are supposed to be in order of wearing them. Stampy starts to add item frames facing into the clothes shop, now adding the outfits. The first one will be primarily leather, saying that he has a lot of it due to breeding cows prior to the video. Behind the counter, Stampy sees a button and he wonders if it is supposed to be a security button. Positioning the crafting table, Stampy crafts a full set of leather armour minus the head, slowly adding the clothing to the item frames in order of wearing, explaining that it will be called the "Pumpkin Munchkin". The basic concept of this clothing item is that it will be an all-leather outfit with a pumpkin head.
Building the outwards displays for Stampy's Overwear[]
Stampy then starts to build the display on the opposite window, copying the pillar by building up as he says that he will have four total displays. He notices that, due to building up the pillar the way that he did, he has gotten himself caught on the ceiling, constantly bouncing, wondering how he managed to do it. He starts to set up the next outfit, which is called "Rainbow Robes", an outfit that is one of all four materials to craft armour out of, with golf, diamond, leather and iron. Stampy decides on a diamond helmet, saying that he doesn't want to use too much of his iron, as well as an iron chestplate. He intends to craft leather pants, only to find that he has run out of a plausible amount of leather, compensating for it by instead crafting leather boots and gold leggings. Accidentally putting it on again, Stampy then arranges the outfit in the display stand, admiring the image of the outfit. Breaking open the next window, Stampy says that the other outfits will be on the same structure, but on the opposite side, meaning it they are easier to see and therefore display the most quality out of the clothes shop. Stampy starts to lay down item frames again, only to run out of them.
Due to running out of the leather to make more, Stampy decides to run over to his animal farm to gather more, saying that it's sad to get rid of livestock. Stampy states that their only purpose is to die in the first place, however, since they don't have a use besides killing them for food. He lists off some exceptions like sheep with wool, chicken with eggs, and cow with leather, thinking that pigs are the most useless besides being able to ride around on them with a saddle. Stampy considers breeding extra cows to keep himself supplied, gathering the wheat from his chest, stating further that he may need the leather for future outfits. Stampy breeds the cows, killing them afterwards with his Looting sword, gathering multiple pieces of leather and beef from the cows. Stampy considers himself mean for what he is doing, deciding to leave some of them behind with the 11 pieces of leather he gathered. Stampy realises that he is getting hungry, deciding to eat bread due to not wanting to eat beef in front of his cows, and then returns back to complete the last two outfits, planning to also add chests full of clothes so his customers can choose from the stock.
Stampy states that he wants to build a catwalk by the end of the episode, realising his unintentional pun, intending to create a fashion show of sorts in the next episode to decide the employee of the month. Stampy positions the item frames on the display stands' fronts, and then adds the last two costumes. Stampy calls the next outfit the "King's Costume", which is a gold helmet representing a crown with an all-iron outfit, claiming that Finnball would like the outfit himself. After positioning the armour in the item frames, Stampy deems the display complete, recommending it for a fancy dinner. Stampy then moves onto the final outfit, saying that it's his personal favourite and expecting his viewers to think the same, saying that the name of the outfit is "Stampy Style", the only necessary being iron boots, going into third-person perspective to show himself in fact wearing them, only find that he is wearing a leather helmet, giving it to L for Leeeee x. Stampy then adds a rose to complete the outfit.
Stampy then goes to show the full line of clothing in order of creation, and then adds the windows for the clothes shop in the form of full glass blocks, thinking it would look weird with glass panes instead, describing the displays as "beautiful". He requests himself to sleep due to it becoming night, intending to finish the clothes shop the day after, entering inside and considering the clothes shop to be of quality. Stampy tries to craft some beds for convenience's sake, only to find that he has no wool, and he tells L for Leeeee x to sleep in order to finish it by morning. Stampy then crafts some chests while he is writing down the sign for Pumpkin Munchkin again, arranging the chests in a double chest sequence in the middle sides of the room, intending to craft more clothes to fill up the chest. Before leaving, Stampy tries to find a location for the crafting table, deciding to add it to the corner of the counter to make more clothes of various materials. Stampy justifies this in that he technically has no other possible things to make out of all of his iron and gold, crafting the clothes and categorising them in each chest.
Stampy reads L for Leeeee x's rewritten sign, and then leaves the clothes shop to enter his bedroom from his house's front entrance as he tells L for Leeeee that they can build the catwalk in the morning for the fashion show. Stampy realises that he needs to advertise his clothes shop, finding it empty with just L for Leeeee x, wanting to sell his clothes with his helpers, potentially wanting to set some form of trend, such as the "Stampy Style" trend. He realises that, in the context of reality, wearing only boots and flower would lead to being arrested instead, but he disregards it anyway due to Minecraft allowing it, and he concludes that he simply just wants to be a cat in boots.
Stampy decides to advertise the clothes shop once the day resets, deciding he should advertise Stampy's Overwear by adding some posters to trees around his world, crafting some signs and leaving his bedroom to spread them over his world so that those who pass by will read the sign and check out the clothing line he has. On a birch tree next to the path leading to Stampy's Hot Buns, Stampy decides to add the sign, reading "Come to my shop", hoping for people to see it in and dash to Stampy's Overwear afterwards. He repeats the same action on another tree in case someone misses the first sign. On his way there, iBallisticSquid and MissPinkMermaid join his game, finding it ironic how he was only just complaining about the lack of people within his game. Stampy then writes another shop reading the same phrase, partially criticising how advertisement are typically overtly fancy and that that the only true necessary is to be straight to he point.
Clothes browsing with various helpers in Stampy's Overwear[]
After the second sign, Stampy is then joined by Amy Lee33, rosie833 and LiviTheBushBaby, turning around to see Amy Lee33 leading herself to Stmapy's Overwear, realising that his advertisement had worked. With the insistence and demand from his crowd, Stampy tells them to stay calm and wait, seeing iBallisticSquid already having come inside as he dashes to the counter. He asks iBallisticSquid in desperation for if he wants the Rainbow Robes outfit, and he goes for the Pumpkin Munchkin outfit, changing into it in the changing rooms. He tells the rest of the customers that they are allowed to come inside, greeting them one by one and returning back to the counter with L for Leeeee x. While doing so, Stampy sees iBallisticSquid dash off with the Pumpkin Munchkin's pumpkin and leggings, telling L for Leeeee x to chase him down, calling him out as a shoplifter. Stampy offers the other customers to check out all of the clothes in stock, and then sees Amy Lee33 with iron pants, recommending she tries the Rainbow Robes instead due to complementing her hair, along with MissPinkMermaid.
Stampy offers someone to try Stampy Style, asking specifically LiviTheBushBaby, directing her to where it is. iBallisticSquid returns again, and Stampy requests him to pay again, only for him to dash back out of the clothes shop again. Stampy says that he can't believe the quality of his business as he had only positioned two signs, leading to all of his helpers dressing up. Stampy sees MissPinkMermaid in an all-gold armour suit minus the helmet, finding it to be a new outfit, calling it a "butter outfit", also seeing Amy Lee33 in the background wearing Rainbow Robes. LiviTheBushBaby then pays Stampy in gold nuggets, surprising him due to someone finally deciding to pay, and with the monetary gains, decides he should start franchising and branching. Stampy sees Amy Lee33 then giving him iron leggings, presuming them to have a tear in them, and she additionally gives him the entire Rainbow Robes outfit in order to take them home with her. Stampy has to remove the security tags for her first, additionally seeing her give him a rose. Stampy is then given gold nuggets by MissPinkMermaid, whom he thinks is iBallisticSquid due to wearing a pumpkin. Due to the frequent uses, Stampy deduces the outfit to be the most popular among the stocks. JakeOnDaXbox then confronts Stampy of a purchase for gold boots, a choice which he admires, and he then describes everyone's appearance as "delightful".
Stampy thanks his helpers for their business, telling everyone to go home as he is closing for the day, saying the can't believe how busy everything turned out to be, and then describes the experience as "amazing". He points out how he simply had to add two signs reading "Come to my shop" and everyone came flowing in for business. He also compliments L for Leeeee x's work as an employer, only for iBallisticSquid to attack him as vengeance and dash off into the distance, leading Stampy to chase after him with L for Leeeee x, and after some time running, Stampy eventually instead tries to assure iBallisticSquid that he isn't going to do anything to him. However, L for Leeeee x instead ends up attacking and killing him with his sword, scolding him for doing so as he was only going to tell iBallisticSquid that he could be disciplined instead. Stampy finds iBallisticSquid in the doghouse, deciding he should talk to him. Coming inside of his bedroom, Stampy apologises for the inconvenience, and then tells him not to shoplift, though he knows it doesn't give L for Leeeee x a motive to outright kill him.
Stampy describes the situation as "hilarious", seeing everyone running around spontaneously in his front field, and then he calls everyone over to Stampy's Hot Buns to have a cake party, wondering if he should have a cake party per the end of every episode, even telling them to look in the chest for the arrangement of a happy face. Stampy tells everyone the cake is free, and calls the video overall "crazy" and "hilarious", having started the video in a good mood and having even that improved upon. Stampy sees iBallisticSquid and assures him that the cake is free, and jokes that he hides cookies in his hat due to having no pockets. Stampy then announces that he has run out of time for the video, planning to build a catwalk of some form in the next episode for a fashion show. He proceeds to thank his helpers for joining into the game and being good customers, and then ends the episode with the line "And yeah, thank you all for watching. I'll see you guys in the next episode. Byeeeee!"
