"I wanna live down here, I wanna live down here in Toy Town, this looks amazing!" |
— Stampy upon seeing a finished design for one of the houses in the Toy Town Toy Shop. |
"Toy Town" is the 129th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy and his helpers start to build Toy Town underneath the Toy Town Toy Shop.
Plot[]
Peeking through doors & the adventure map host[]
Stampy opens the episode, introducing L for Leeeee x and Amy Lee33, the former and latter both peeking through Stampy's bedroom doors left and right respectively, which he finds to be entertaining. Stampy goes to comically greet them by switching between the two doors they are standing behind, asking if Amy Lee33 is okay, opening the door under the joke of it being "soundproof". She gives him a collection of roses, of which he notes that he missed, and then travels to the left door to open it up for L for Leeeee x to give him his cake. L for Leeeee x enters into his bedroom, Stampy stating that regardless of the the episode not starting as it normally does, he should still eat his cake. He asks if he has any in his possession, to which he confirms he does, placing it down and giving Stampy the opportunity to eat it completely, as he had spent an entire night without eating it, adding onto his statement with a joke that humans shouldn't go 12 hours without eating cake.
Stampy then visits his Love Garden as he walks through the heart symbol, having added someone who he previously thought he did, adding "zshoot2killz", who accompanies himself and iBallisticSquid through most adventure maps, and also downloads and hosts them, thanking her for her help and regretting not having added her long before, apologising for his slowness. After, he heads to the doghouse to pick a dog, explaining that he is building "Toy Town", as part of his "Toy Town Toy Shop" along the way, having built the top of it, an element he describes as "boring" and "ugly", building the fun element. Stampy sees L for Leeeee x on top of the doghouse ramp having held out a porkchop, seeing the dogs heads having turned simultaneously, something of which he finds to be entertaining, telling him to switch between the item. Finding the dogs to be adorable, Stampy grows uncertain of who to pick, only to bluntly tell the dogs in the doghouse that he isn't picking any of them and is instead taking Fluffy, who is in the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop, Stampy saying that she spends her entire time present in it and grows bored. Though she may have the company of the animals, and has decided she should be released and join him in building the Toy Town.

Being directly next to it, Stampy goes to show the current appearance of the Toy Town Toy Shop, of which he notes hasn't been changed since first built, and he explains the basic idea of it in that a customer enters inside and considers the primary building they find to be disgusting, seeing the contents as mushrooms, spruce, coal, wheat seeds, raw fish and a bucket, only to find a terrifying doll and "shake its hand", as in pull its right lever, to open up a hole in the floor to lead themselves down. In his example case, however, Stampy ends up getting stuck in the entry by L for Leeeee x due to them attempting to travel down together, asking for Fluffy to help him. Stampy describes his situation as "embarrassing" and makes a fat joke based on himself and his cake penchant. Amy Lee33 eventually pushes the two of them up and out of the hole, and Stampy tries to order himself and his helpers to prevent getting stuck, ordering Amy Lee33 first, and then L for Leeeee x, accompanied by Fluffy's attack, and then himself, standing up Fluffy again. Finally reaching underground, Stampy shows there to be a giant empty space of around 40 length and 14 wide dug out underneath, hoping to eventually fill it in. He explains that it will serve as a high street of some form under the shop, featuring a road with miniature fake shops on each side, with each shop selling some form of toy or gadget. He also sarcastically takes note of the current roof, as it is the other buildings from underneath, along with his town's path/
Stampy decides to start building the town area, digging out the middle area for the main road area, which he intends to create with bricks the entire way across, the entrance also serving as some form of clock tower to descend, and potentially also a train station if he has the time to do so at the end of the episode, using a method with a furnace in a minecart and coal together, making it travel around like a miniature train, which he considers to look awesome, and with each miniature shop selling a toy, there aren't particularly any actual toys to use in Minecraft, meaning Stampy has had to make them up. On his way through digging the road out, Stampy discovers a mineshaft leading underground, to his curiosity. Stampy decides to investigate it, thinking it to be an old mine of some form, and finds a zombie and two creepers with some ores. L for Leeeee x joins in with the journey, killing all of the mobs as they venture through the mine. Stampy finds lava, of which he admires the Plastic texture of, and then finds gold nearby, stating that he didn't intend for the episode to be about mining. With her close to the lava, Stampy scolds her for getting close as he had a situation in the past involving a dog in lava. Hearing her growling, Stampy confusedly asks why she is angry, thinking she is angry at L for Leeeeee x, and he decides to give her porkchops.
Stampy decides to return back to the top with the intention of actually working on Toy Town, realising that he needs to feed himself, and decides he should memorise the mine so he can explore it once again. Stampy tries to remember the staircase leading down to it, and ends up instead finding a dungeon, to his surprise, seeing there is a spider spawner present. In one of the chests, Stampy finds gunpowder, string, wheat and cocoa beans, as well as bread and an iron ingot. Since he is also desiring for moss cobblestone, Stampy confirms that he will indeed return back down, and then calls himself out for being distracted, following L for Leeeee x to the entrance. The idea in mind, Stampy considers adding a potential well to enter into the cave, and then continues to build the road as planned.
Stampy notes himself getting distracted and ignoring his main priority, continuing from his previous statement about the lack of toys in Minecraft, and how he is using a different method for it, only to accidentally set Fluffy on fire with his enchanted diamond pickaxe due to her standing in front of her, feeding her and then sitting her down so she stays out of his way, continuing that the lack of toys means that he is using snowballs as bouncy balls, music discs as frisbees, pumpkins as a scary mask for Halloween, and wooden sword for playing sword, being reminded of also being able to include funny bones, since bones are bigger than normal in the Plastic texture pack. Stampy comments on the fact that certain features appear massive compared to usual, such as bones, and he believes it to look ridiculous.
Building a road for & adding stocks to the Toy Town Toy Shop[]
Having dug a four-block wide space in the middle of the area, Stampy then starts to add the bricks in, then planning to assist Amy Lee33 in building the shops. He advises her that the shop doesn't need to be a complete shop and only the front due to his intention of making each shop miniature, finding the size that the first one is to be enough. In regards to the shop windows, Stampy also decides to use redstone lamps due to the fact that the doorway only ever leads to a single chest per shop, meaning he also isn't required to set up torches, intending for the town to appear as though it is set at night with windows fully lit up, which he hopes to look cool. Additionally, the roof of the underground area will be blue wool as to represent a sky. With Fluffy still sitting down and growling, Stampy is curious as to the reason for why, and he believes her to be missing the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop, growing bored of Toy Town, deciding he should return her at the end of the episode. Stampy decides to craft and gather more bricks, intending to simply fill in the road by the majority instead, as the train station will be featured at the end.
Stampy completes the road as he notices Amy Lee33 building out of pink and purple for her assigned fake shops, and decides he should build an orange shop for himself, additionally advising her that each shop can be directly next to one another as he is unsure of what to add in-between. Stampy expels his inventory in order to gather some orange wool from the supplies chest, only to end up finding none and instead using yellow, and he wonders about his roof design using Amy Lee33 as an example, only to see her not having made any yet, deciding to use an oak wooden plank roof and then switch his mind around to nether brick due to it appearing red. Stampy realises that he hasn't yet converted the netherrack he has to nether brick, and then starts to build his first shop some distance away from the hole to take entry.
Stampy starts to build a seven-wide front like the rest of the shops, dragging the back half all the way to the wall, and as he is adding each chest to finish the shop, he can make up a name for each shop, using "Comic Book Shop" as an example where he says that he is selling comic books only to sell normal books, continuing that he also wishes to add baby NPC villagers underground to wander around the Toy Town, liking the idea himself. Stampy starts to add the windows and the floor, and due to the lack of an actual interior, he sets up the windows, using glass panes in front, then crafting redstone lamps to position them behind, trying to recall the crafting recipe. Gathering a full glowstone block and some redstone, Stampy crafts a redstone lamp and a redstone torch to light them up, and positions down the redstone lamp in the exact setup. Stampy admires the design of the glowstone, and thinking them to already look like windows, he decides to use them within the window frames themselves. Stampy eventually finishes his new idea of the windows, and then exits outside to see the result of the design choice, admiring what he has made and even considering living in Toy Town. Stampy then crafts a chest and a door, finishing the fake interior as he clarifies the reason for not wanting each building to be a full shop in itself, deciding to have each of the stocks in a town-themed location instead of being an individual shop each. Stampy decides of his fake shop as a skipping rope shop using string, and tries to form a name, coming up with "Skipperdoodle-day Skipping Shop" where the player then gathers their stock, and then climbs up to the surface again to pay for it.
With the main building completed, Stampy decides to make the roof with the intended materials, only to realise that he hasn't thought at all about an escape route as the player will end up stuck underground if the surface opening is closed, though he realises that there are places worse to be stuck in. Stampy considers adding some form of back door, and then realises that he doesn't have the nether brick to create the roof. In front of him, L for Leeeee x brings to Stampy's attention of something that appears as a Game Boy, which is actually the clock, and the shears appear as headphones, inspiring him to create a shop to feature both of them. He also considers creating a "My First Chemistry Set" and "My First Oven" set using a furnace and brewing stand, and decides to build the roof anyway, with oak wooden planks this time around due to his lack of nether brick. Stampy has decided to make the roof of the building he made, intending for it to be more tradition as it travels up into a point to make some form of hut, explaining his intentions for each house to include a unique roof to differentiate them, though he admires the appearance of Toy Town as it is. Stampy informs Amy Lee33 to create rooves for herself with different materials for each, and then looks up due to material falling down from above, seeing L for Leeeee x having filled in the roof of the room underground completely, to Stampy's own surprise due to the comparison of progress. He thinks the roof above looks awesome as as a representative for the sky, adding white clouds to make it appear more reminiscent of a sky.
Suddenly, Stampy hears the sound of a door being knocked on by a zombie, and eventually realises that it is emanating from the surface, believing the zombie to admire the appearance of the building above due to how it looks, and tells the zombie that hostile mobs aren't allowed in Toy Town as they aren't allowed to play with them, and remarks that the banging was loud, leading him to think it to be close. With the roof completed, Stampy states that he is glad about finding the texture of redstone lamps looking like windows, as it is the perfect shape for the case, comparing it to a doll's house. Stampy checks on his nether brick, only to find that it has barely finished smelting, and decides to add a stone roof to the top of the purple fake shop, gathering some stone to craft into stone bricks. Stampy comments on the irony of him continuing to be slow on the virtue of crafting, as he plays Minecraft daily and still fails to play professionally, even noting the lack of coordination in his inventory, deciding to expel it again. On the fake road, Stampy also sees the wood from the scaffolding that L for Leeeee x had made, telling him to clean it up afterwards.
Stampy decides to build the roof on Amy Lee33's purple fake shop, climbing on top, expressing his endearment over the fake shops, and decides to make the roof of the shop travel up and back instead due to his desire for each shop to include a unique roof. Stampy had previously thought to theme each shop in some way around each one's stocks, only to have realised the implausibility of doing so due to the size. In terms of the roof, Stampy considers building up until it connects to the wall behind it, continuing by explaining that the walls in the background should be some form of random scenery, such as fake hills, and then finishes building the roof of the purple shop. Upon doing so, Stampy decides the design appears acceptable as it is, and decides to add the last redstone lamp windows prior to the end of the episode so he can then travel up the ladder and gain an overview of it. Stampy positions each window, counting along each shop and admiring the progress made. In the red shop that Amy Lee33 had built, Stampy finds Fluffy inside of it and is endeared by the idea of her living in the house. He remarks on her continuous residential location switching, having first lived on the SS Stumpy and then then his pet shop, only to move underground into the pet shop, to which he states that Fluffy likes traveling and doesn't like spending her life trapped in a doghouse.
Stampy lights up all of the redstone lamp windows necessary for Toy Town, and then climbs up to the top of the ladder tower for the sake of an overview as planned, considering it to look "cute" as it does, considering the area to look awesome upon completion. He also admires L for Leeeee x filling in the ceiling above, as well as Amy Lee33 building five separate houses within the period it took for him to build one of them. Stampy thanks his helpers for helping him, and then ends the episode with the line "And a big thank you to you for watching, and hopefully, I will see you in my next episode. Byeeeee!"
