"My torches are a little bit wonky at the top, but, I love the little train going round! Shall we ride the train? Shall I make a few minecarts and shall we all jump in and just see what happens if we all get, uh, pushed all over the place?" |
— Stampy deciding he and his helpers should ride around in minecarts for the train set at the front of the miniature train station for the Toy Town Toy Shop. |
"Toy Train" is the 130th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy adds a miniature train station to serve as an exit point, and a miniature pool to serve as an entry point for the Toy Town Toy Shop.
Plot[]
Maybe there's a secret ingredient[]
Stampy opens the episode, introducing L for Leeeee x, whom he points out as "emerging from the Mona Lisa", as well as Amy Lee33, who peeks through the door as she did in the previous episode. Stampy tells her that he can see her, along with a petal from a rose she is holding that she then gives him. He expects L for Leeeee x to also give him his cake, telling him that he can be seen via the painting, and upon emergence, L for Leeeee x gives him the cake, Stampy telling him that he always teases him just as he proceeds to eat it, adding to his statement that he has no idea how to make cakes himself the same way L for Leeeee x does it, speculating him to use some form of secret ingredient, or Stampy mixes the ingredients in the wrong order. Truthfully, however, it is due to Stampy being lazy, deciding that it is nice for L for Leeeee x to make the cakes at the beginning of every episode.
Now at his Love Garden, Stampy explains that it is somewhere he adds someone's name onto a sign and thanks them for something, and give them some form of shoutout. In this case, he is adding MissPinkMermaid, telling a nearby Amy Lee33 that she should have some form of relations due to them both being mermaids. MissPinkMermaid is a friend of Stampy's that he has played with for at least five months, as well as being a long-time subscriber, having also helped him out in certain videos. In regards to videos, she had sent Stampy one with a message of his approval, wanting to thank her for giving it to her. After adding her, Stampy leaves as he explains that there isn't a particular method of being added, as he does so for various reasons like fanart, or various funny comments, saying that he has no particular method of adding people, deciding to do so when he wants to. At the doghouse, Stampy sees L for Leeeee x in the corner, having noticed him before via his gamertag around the area, thinking he should be his dog companion. L for Leeeee x approves, along with the idea of another dog, and he decides Stampy should take Bengy, who he characterises as having his head tilted upward slightly, and Stampy remarks that L for Leeeee x likes to switch to different skins, in spite of the fact that his friends know exactly who he is.
Leaving the doghouse, Stampy decides he should mention the texture pack debate on whether or not he should maintain the Plastic texture pack, or switch back to the classic texture pack. Upon response, Stampy gained an indifferent overall response, with each half preferring one over the other. However, Stampy deduces the majority to be returning to the classic texture pack, something he has surprised by as himself as well as most of his viewers like the Plastic texture pack. To compensate for this, Stampy decides to remain in the Plastic texture pack until completion of the Toy Town Toy Shop, deciding he should go back and forth in the event that people complain about him using the classic texture pack.
A miniature train station for the Toy Town Toy Shop & minimal creeper damage[]
Entering inside of the fake toy shop building, Stampy demonstrates the basic workings of the toy shop in that the top area features an old and rustic location, and that something happens upon pulling a lever. However, the right lever in question, that is supposed to trigger something, fails to work, to his confusion. After pulling up the left lever, the opening to the toy shop underground works again, and he continues to demonstrate how the toy shop works in that the player then journeys down. Using a ladder, Stampy shows what the area underneath currently appears as, thinking it to look awesome. On his way to the floor, Stampy takes sight of a skeleton, of which is promptly killed by L for Leeeee x, due to a dark area. However, said dark area is where building will occur in the present episode. In terms of progression made on Toy Town, Stampy shows that the shops have been completed along with the rooves, and also shows the walls completed, making the area complete as a fake town, having added hills, clouds, and a Sun to emit light into the area. Stampy is about to explain his intentions for addition in the blank area, only to be interrupted by L for Leeeee x spontaneously closing and opening the door next to him.
In regards to what he intends to build in the blank area, Stampy plans to build a train station, with a pool on the opposite side where he had intended to add a clock tower, only to realise that a small face makes it difficult to build one, deciding instead to replace the ladder with a stream of water leading to a paddling pool to serve as an entrance. As an exit point, the player will then use the train station to enable a minecart track that then sends the player over in the forward distance. Deciding he should start to build it, Stampy gathers some sandstone as he thinks the block to look cool as a material. At first, he starts with the building itself, only to realise that he needs the template of the front track to determine the distance, as the front track will be a basic minecart rail set with a furnace minecart on top of it, meaning that it can be enabled with coal and can then spiral around like a toy train, with there being a set of chests behind it filled with other extra toys.
Having laid out the track as a miniature loop with a grey wool floor, Stampy then goes to craft the main element of a minecart with a furnace to serve as the train on the train station, of which the only requirements to create it are a minecart and a furnace together. Stampy eventually crafts a minecart with a furnace and a three set of minecarts with chests, then adding them down onto the track laid in front. On his way back, however, Stampy sees his helpers already having made one in advance and having placed it down on the rail, to his surprise and the redundancy of his own. Stampy positions down the minecarts in the intended order, and then enables the minecart with a furnace to go by, as he advises, simply pressing the use button. This allows the minecarts to travel around constantly in a loop, and he sees the minecart train in front of him working, admiring it conceptually and visually. Stampy sets down a torch in the middle to finish it off.
Stampy then starts to build the train station itself, designing it with an expanded rendition of the same houses in the rest of the Toy Town, him also deciding to make it with sandstone to have it stand out, and in terms of designing the roof, he will use stone bricks and stone brick stairs, coming to the conclusion via mockups made prior to the episode that the building appears as a train station with the design. He proceeds to add the doors, of which have to be double doors, in the middle of the structure, requiring a raised section in the middle. After complaining about the train's interference when jumping across to the top to add said raised section, Stampy then adds the roof of the structure, adding sandstone in the same level as the top of the building from the front, the train station also being miniature like the rest of the fake houses in Toy Town, entering inside of the train station to encounter a minecart track to take the player next to Googlies Island, by the pit of water underneath, including a detector rail so a secret entry opens to allow the player to escape, as it is difficult to reach the surface via the waterfall leading in.
Having set up the roof, Stampy accidentally crafts only stone brick stairs, removing him of any ability to make blocks of any form as his helpers lack stone to create stone bricks, as Amy Lee33 proceeds to lag out of the game. Checking one of his supply chests, Stampy finds only 16 pieces of stone, meaning he has to smelt his cobblestone. He re-checks his supply chest again, only to find a stack of stone bricks that he can use, seeing L for Leeeee x also having some stored too. Stampy explains an additional reason for the roof being stone bricks due to the entire station being made out of sandstone leading it to look unappealing, and he then starts to build the roof, laying out blocks on each side and positioning stairs on top to lead to the upper area of the roof, leaving behind a vacant space for stone brick slabs, making the roof curved. After copying the pattern unevenly on the other side, Stampy adds some torches to the roof, and then crafts some stone bricks into slabs to then add them on the opposite side. Stampy notices some form of off-pattern on the roof, correcting it and evening it out after some delay as he calls himself out on the fact that he can't judge a detailed roof like the one that he is building, and then completes the exterior of the fake train station as a result.
After doing so, Stampy hears an abrupt explosion accompanied by Amy Lee33's gamertag, and he goes to investigate the damages, finding that the main cause is due to the game being night. On the surface, Stampy leaves the Toy Town Toy Shop to turn the corner in order to investigate in the direction he head the explosion from, encountering a creeper hiding behind, causing an explosion between the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop and the Toy Town Toy Shop, walking further to see the damaged Amy Lee33 had caused to find a gaping hole in Stampy's Hot Buns, to Stampy's dismay. He accepts the damages as they are, and then encounters another creeper when trying to approach the front of it. The creeper is then taken out by L for Leeeee x himself, and Stampy proceeds to warn his helpers about the creepers coming in masses, taking note of another creeper distantly, leading him to Googlies Island itself. Stampy tells everyone to return back to the Toy Town Toy Shop for safety reasons, checking the damage caused by the creeper he accidentally exploded to find a hole leading leading into Toy Town itself. Returning back down, Stampy considers trying to fix this issue and returning the blue wool to the ceiling, doing so in order to prevent hostile mobs from falling down into Toy Town, with Stampy calling the situation that of "progressively worse". At the surface to block up the ceiling, Stampy takes caution of his surroundings before doing so and suddenly encountering a creeper coming between the Pick-A-Pet Pet Shop and Toy Town Toy Shop yet again, which L for Leeeee x kills immediately. Stampy starts to fix the hole in the ceiling, getting delayed by a zombie that he kills with it still remaining on the surface, and he checks his surroundings yet again to verify if there are any other hostile mobs attempting to confront him. After fixing the hole, STampy accepts the destruction caused as it is, and then tells his helpers to enter into Toy Town with him, describing the events as "frantic".
Adding a paddling pool entry for the Toy Town Toy Shop & riding around in a miniature train station[]
After returning back down, Stampy has a quick-fire head count of each of his helpers and Bengy, now taking an opportunity to look at the miniature train station he has made in detail, of which he admires. Stampy creates some fake windows for each side in the same style as the rest of the houses, using redstone lamps, only needing to create and add doors to couple the structure. He decides to give L for Leeeee x the responsibility of adding the final details while he creates the paddling pool intended for the location below, starting by removing the ladder leading up. Hearing a zombie and spider while doing so, Stampy states that only creepers are the ones that actually scare him, as the hiss itself is terrifying to him. Stampy attempts to add the water to the entrance first, only to realise the inefficiency of the method, instead deciding he should add the pool first to prevent water from constantly trickling down as he builds the pool.
Stampy judges the pool's position, and then searches for orange and white wool to use in order to make the pool his colours. He creates the pool by a checkered orange and white pattern, making the miniature pool pool area and adding the same pattern the whole way through doing so. Creating the pool itself, Stampy then nerdpoles to the point of entry to add the water, which he expects to make a single stream leading down into the pool. Stampy realises that he has created it incorrectly due to the nerdpole he added causing the water to splay out, and moves it to the side so he can successfully drop the water into the paddling pool, though the water itself turns out uneven. Stampy decides to then add torches, adding one to the cloud as he gives clarity to a lever once hidden in the dark, which is used to enable the piston from the bottom, a mechanism of which he demonstrates that it serves as an escape route.
Having built the main entrance area, Stampy lastly has to dig the tunnel leading to the exit, seeing the finished miniature train station as it is and admiring its appearance. Seeing the trains traveling in a loop in front of him, he crafts three minecarts to use to be pushed around by the minecart on the rail, offering his helpers to join him, and he places the minecart down in front of the minecart with a furnace to then get pushed around by the minecart on the rail, entertained by how the minecart with a furnace casually pushes the minecarts along. Eventually, three of them together join in and they are all pushed around by the minecart with a furnace, desiring for Bengy to also join in due to him being left out. L for Leeeee x then manages to insert Bengy into a minecart anyway, and all of four of them end up being pushed around altogether. Afterwards, Stampy leaves his minecart to add to the the train station, entering inside to create a tunnel. However, Stampy decides not to do so and instead work it out after the video due to it simply leading to him tunneling for a long period. With the only other priority being to fix the surface damage and fill the shops, Stampy decides the Toy Town complete upon doing so, and that he will show its finished state within the next episode, returning back to Stampy's Funland to then build another mini-game. Stampy then ends the episode with the line "Uh, but that's the end of this video. Uh, a big thank you to Amy and Lee for helping me out, a big thank you to you for watching, and I will see, in the next episode. Byeeeee!"
