"Tumble Tower" is the 196th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy and his helpers build a tower-scaling mini-game dubbed "Tumble Tower", and then he hosts a test tournament.
Plot[]
The seventh round of the egg-projectile painting-target mini-game[]
Stampy opens the episode, stating that he will be joined by more than L for Leeeee x, disappointed by no one revealing themselves, only for Miss MCXBLA to enter into the bedroom via the left door, welcoming her in. As for L for Leeeee x himself, however, Stampy finds him having doused the balcony with water to enter, wondering why he did it in the first place as he is fine with his normal method of entry via the painting, the water also colliding with Ester. Stampy additionally introduces WeeWeeGaming, finding him to be enthusiastic. Requesting his cake as necessary, Stampy sees L for Leeeee x entering in via the painting as he is expected to with the cake in question, giving it to Stampy with Stampy attempting to share it only for him to eat it too quickly to allow it.
Moving on, Stampy decides to call his helpers to the balcony mini-game involving eggs, of which Ester had laid, giving WeeWeeGaming an egg as well as offering Miss MCXBLA to use an egg within his bedroom, explaining the general idea of the mini-game in that players throw an egg to knock off a painting on the wool scattered around, which he finds to have already completed the majority of, only remaining with three paintings by the hill in front of him with the lime green painting being the most difficult with one try per player. L for Leeeee x makes the first attempt as he targets the lime green painting while also spinning, managing to nearly hit the painting by targeting too far upwards, with WeeWeeGaming attempting the same and getting as close. Miss MCXBLA then makes the third attempt, with her also attempting the lime green painting and, once again, nearly hitting it. Due to his helpers targeting the same painting, Stampy decides to copy them, and also ends up missing along with everyone else, ending up being given another egg by Ester and missing a second time.
Deciding to let go of the mini-game, Stampy decides to visit the Love Garden, only to be interrupted by the sight of Henry Henry and Hilda's bedroom door being open, deciding to investigate for clarity and being greeted by his two golems. However, as the rest of his helpers enter inside, Stampy finds Henry attempting to escape, realising that the doors have to remain closed and requiring him to be led back outside again. Visiting the Love Garden thereafter, Stampy informs potential new viewers of what it is in that he looks at a sign with someone's name and thanks them for some reason, in this case giving a shoutout to "Kingfisher8", "Queenfisher6" and "Flowergypsy" for a themed foosball table described as a "cakeball table", with one team being himself and the other being L for Leeeee x, with two of three of them being dressed as himself and L for Leeeee x in the picture with his various friends cheering for the game, thinking it to be a cool thing to make.
Moving onto the doghouse, Stampy is determined to be quick, as he is intending to do something he has not done yet in the form of completely building a Stampy's Funland mini-game and playing it within one episode, assuring that he is going to truthfully do such, though there is uncertainty on him doing such, deciding to take Corey with him, with L for Leeeee x standing where his sign is, with Corey himself being just by him.
Digging & designing a pit for Tumble Tower[]
On his way over to Stampy's Funland via the Tree Train, Stampy decides to explain the general concept of the mini-game in that it is entitled a "tower tumble" mini-game, which will involve no redstone. The general concept is that there will be a thin one-block wide tower leading upwards with trapdoors on each side where players have to flap each trapdoor in order to reach up to the top, and that there will be four sides per trapdoor, making a race upwards to the top. However, the player is additionally allowed to trigger an opponent's trapdoor in order to slow them down, though without violence, meaning there will be a pit of water at the bottom, determined to complete the mini-game within the single episode due to this.
Arriving at the building site behind Turbo Types, Stampy sits Corey down in advance, he decides to dig out the pit of water, which will be 12x12, though the tower in question is one block wide, with the pit being three blocks deep to prevent fall damage, as well as bringing the possibility of jumping down into the water for reasons of victory if winning. After the pit, the only other necessary that Stampy is required to add would be the tower involving the trapdoors, completing the mini-game, meaning that a tournament can be hosted directly afterwards. Upon realisation, however, Stampy notices his helpers are absent, stating that the mini-game won't be complete if he has to build on his own, expecting them to be making a gradual approach. Deciding this doesn't matter anyway, Stampy decides he should at least build the majority.
Digging the first layer of the pit, Stampy decides to start lining the main pattern, which will include orange and white wool to fit his colour motif, using the SS Stumpy as an example of it being a motif, arranging them into a checkered pattern around the edge to create a square. He ponders on the method to use to create the pit, considering adding the water before digging, only to realise that the arrangement would make building inconvenient for him, deciding to fill in the walls themselves and fill in the water afterwards, meaning he will have to create a temporary surface for the water. As he starts to dig down to create an actual pit, Stampy still finds his helpers to be absent, to his confusion, wondering if they didn't want to build and are playing another mini-game of his. He finds this to be inconvenient, since he is expecting to complete a mini-game and play it within the same episode, thinking he should start paying his helpers in cakes. However, despite this, Stampy finds himself to be making progress, unlike most previous cases where he is distracted by a surrounding event that he finds to be exciting, instead focusing.
Eventually, nearby the building site, Stampy sees WeeWeeGaming making an approach just as the game turns to night. However, in spite of needing help, the mini-game's simplicity means that he is further ahead than he appears, and that just about any of his viewers could build the mini-game as quickly as he is since the mini-game is a pit of water with a tower inside it, or otherwise a pit of water not being necessary since he is using it as a safety precaution. Hollowing out the third layer down and only requiring the layer below for the floor, Stampy considers including the pattern of orange and white wool for the floor of the pit, after which he can then fill in the water and start the tower itself, though he is aware that the trapdoors will take up time since they will be attached to each side. While destroying the ground underneath him, WeeWeeGaming eventually joins in helping Stampy destroy the pit, thinking that his helpers may have issues loading chunks in.
Eventually digging a template for the floor of the pit, with his helpers eventually coming together, Stampy then starts to dig away at the walls for the rest of the pattern, admiring the progress made via the pickaxe. With the first wall destroyed, he starts to drag the orange and white checked pattern down with the pattern continuing on the fourth block, believing three blocks to be deep enough. With his helpers continuing the pattern for him, Stampy tells his helpers to affirm the pattern follows the rest of the checkered pattern the entire way through, that is until he realises that the corners will not comply with the rules of style and his helpers are correct. This inspires him to state that he likes all of his helpers and that he would be sad and lonely by himself, though he would still have his dogs, Mittens, Henry, Hilda, and Fred. In regards to Fred, Stampy has found somewhere to build his house on top of his crafting room, considering doing so in the proceeding episode, deciding to add blocks that he likes to use within it.
The water & tower for Tumble Tower[]
Eventually, with the main pit complete, Stampy tells his helpers to leave the pit so it can be filled with water, placing a temporary layer of dirt for the water to be on top and fall down into the pit so he can build the tower itself. However, Stampy realises that he can build the beginning in the state that the mini-game is presently in. Determining the middle block for said middle point of the mini-game, however, he realises that there is no middle block present on the build, deciding on the current location as around the middle point. Adding a template of the main tower with the first four blocks upwwards so it starts one above the water level, he decides he should wait until the water is added in order to test the full survivability rate of the water for if it possible to land in. Continuing to fill in the platform for the water, Stampy advises L for Leeee x to refrain from altering the shape of the mini-game as of yet so that he and his helpers can test it. With the main dirt platform complete, Stampy then moves onto filling the pit in with water, using an infinite water source Miss MCXBLA had already added, advising his helpers to indiviudalise the water supply to prevent it from being removed completely. Starting to add the water on the top layer and evening out the water level, the water immediately fills itself in, allowing the dirt platform to be removed. Being alerted by a creeper having snuck up behind him and exploding, Stampy comments on Corey having not noticed, and then calls his helpers to remove the dirt while he starts to build up the tower itself.
Starting from the fourth block with three blocks below already being placed, Stampy starts building an extra number of blocks upwards with alternating orange and white wool upwards, though not before warning WeeWeeGaming of the fact that he is in drowning. Stampy starts building up by six blocks, falling down after, reminding him to add the trapdoors on the first side to reach the top again, crafting multiple trapdoors and starting to place the start of them down on the tower's right side, demonstrating how the trapdoors work to lift a player upwards. Starting to actually build the tower, Stampy decides to build until he feels as though he is scared, commenting that he already feels in such a manner as he sees his helpers distantly below him. He comments that the tower has to be significantly high, since he wants players to reach the tower with a challenge via doing so slowly. Stopping at a height 50 blocks due to falling all of the way down, Stampy decides the height as it is and tells his helpers to add the trapdoors, which he finds his helpers to already be doing with an exceeding rate on two sides.
Crafting multiple trapdoors, Stampy encounters his helpers suddenly lagging out, requiring him to invite them back in again, greeted by Miss MCXBLA dropping down from the top of the tower after doing so. Seeing this, he is reminded to check the progress on the tower, admiring the progress made on the front side, to his surprise, seeing L for Leeeee x gathering extra wood from the nearby trees for the trapdoor. On the back end, Stampy starts to build up trapdoors, expecting to fulfill his goal of completing a mini-game within one episode, seemingly proud of having accomplished such. Reaching the top of the tower, Stampy admires Stampy's Funland as it is, taking note of Top Paw Assault Course, Fish Me A Dish, Bouncy Boats, Flower Power, Shear Fun, It's A Lovely World and the circus, attempting to also see his house only to be unable to anyway. Dropping down to complete the final side of the tower due to L for Leeeee x continuing on another, Stampy drops down in anticipation, remarking it to be a scary experience as he does so. Lacking the wood for the trapdoors, Stampy then decides to cut down trees nearby the area, advising his helpers to gather wood and give it to him to complete the mini-game play the first game on it, eager to do so after spending an entire episode building it. Brought to attention by L for Leeeee x, Stampy is given wooden planks by L for Leeeeee x to return back and craft them into trapdoors. Seeing his helpers having triggered the trapdoors to be lifted, however, he advises his helpers to return them to their original position, possibly also completing the final side of the tower.
Completing the tower & the first test game of Tumble Tower[]
Crafting the wood that he has into planks and then into trapdoors, Stampy crafts over a stack of them, and then starts to add to the final side of the tower, seeing Miss MCXBLA as she drops down via lifting up the trapdoors, to his inconvenience, advising her for them to be in a lowered position. Returning back down to complete the final side, Stampy prepares his helpers for the first game by instructing them to choose one of the four sides for the first round, as well as for his helpers to be the first to the top, and that the trapdoors of their opponents can be triggered in order to drop them down, refraining from attacking them, however. Eventually, completing Tumble Tower's trapdoors, he and Miss MCXBLA jump down from the top together into the water. Deciding to go on the back side of the tower, Stampy then gives a countdown and sets off the first round.
With L for Leeeee x to his left and WeeWeeGaming on his right, Stampy ends up perpetually getting dropped by L for Leeeeee x with Stampy repeating the same action to him, and Stampy eventually progresses upwards only to fall again, wondering if he is going to be his enemy. Seeing the gamertag Miss MCXBLA in front of him rising upwards, he advises his opponents next to him to reach her and due to him being directly opposite of her, calling a truce for L for Leeeeee x. Stampy eventually forms a rhythm of lifting the trapdoors above as far as possible, and then rising upwards, allowing him to reach Miss MCXBLA quickly, seeing WeeWeeGaming absent and L for Leeeee x directly behind him. However, once at the top, Stampy sees Miss MCXBLA having made it to the top of the tower in first place, followed by Stampy in second place, Miss MCXBLA giving him a bucket of milk in response, exchanging bread with her as well, then by L for Leeeee x, with WeeWeeGaming far below at the bottom due to failing to reach the top area of the tower.
At the top of the tower, Stampy admires the view, and then returns to the bottom to find WeeWeeGaming still present down below, deeming the mini-game as it is. In terms of future intentions, Stampy is required to modify the structure somewhat, though he still liked the experience on the overall and is eager to revisit the mini-game, then ending the episode with the line "Uh, but sadly, that is the end of this video here, I wanna thank you all very much for watching, and I will see you all later. Byeeeeeee!"
