"I love the way that "pyramiding" isn't even really a word but I've probably said it about ten times so far this video already." |
— Stampy remarking on the concept of "pyramiding" as a term and critiquing his own use of it. |
"Water Pyramid" is the 185th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy shows new additions to the game as a result of a new update, and then he and L for Leeeee x continue building the Pretty Kitty.
Plot[]
The final round of the zombie model head-shot mini-game & new additions[]
Stampy opens the episode, introducing L for Leeeee x, of whom he celebrates for, requesting cake from him and wondering if he has been practicing levitation as he hovers temporarily. Attempting to copy himself, Stampy finds himself to be unable to, and requests his cake from him directly, eating the entire cake and attempting levitation a second time, only to fail again. Moving on, Stampy decides he should play the balcony mini-game where players shoot an arrow upwards to land on top of the head of a zombie model on the walkway in front, offering L for Leeeee x to make his first attempt. He comments that the two of them have lacked experience in the mini-game, only for L for Leeeee x to nearly succeed, proceeded by Stampy's personal attempt. In his own attempt, Stampy successfully shoots an arrow on the zombie model's head, to his celebration, deciding to investigate further by breaking out his balcony to investigate that the arrow managed to successfully land.
Moving onto the Love Garden, Stampy decides to give a shoutout to the "Elsburys" family for giving them a selection of presents upon meeting them at a conference, including a doll, cake-styled brownies, a keychain, and a set of drawings. Stampy then states that he has some additional features to show in Minecraft that he has not yet used, firstly starting with the anvil, which he finds requires four iron ingots and three iron blocks. Crafting the anvil, Stampy finds that he had the exact correct amount to do so, deciding to replace the middle crafting table with it. He explains their use in that they can repair items, name objects, and enchant books, deciding to name his iron boots "Stampy Style boots", thinking the process to be training for Turbo Types. Doing so, Stampy names the boots as intended successfully, requiring seven levels at the expense of it.
While L for Leeeee x finishes up his own enchantments, Stampy decides he should pick a dog, though not before finding Henry as a tradition of some form, firstly wondering if he is in his bedroom as he should be, only finding Hilda inside instead and eventually finding Henry on top of the second floor of the main area of his house. However, Henry is on the outer edge of the fence barrier, warning him to stay cautious, though Henry gives him a seemingly-rebellious expression. Moving onto the doghouse, Stampy states that he finds it cool to be able to dye collars of his dogs, entering inside to find that he has dyed all of his dogs, in the according colour scheme:
- Barnaby - red
- Flippy - purple
- Spring - lime
- Sherbet - orange
- Bengy - blue
- Fluffy - yellow
- Duncan - black
- Benton - cyan
- Corey - green
- Gregory Jr. - white
Stampy proclaims himself to be able to tell the difference regardless of colour and that his viewers are unable to do so, and goes to demonstrate the benefits of being able to define his dogs by collar colour, deciding to take Corey.
Leaving the doghouse, Stampy is reminded of a final act he wishes to take in the form of new food to eat having been added, which he is unable to obtain due to his world being created prior to TU14, which makes L for Leeeee x sad. Assuring him, Stampy says that he has a solution in the form of using the wishing well to gain the new items. Expecting them to be spread out on the floor, Stampy is greatly disappointed upon finding them absent, wondering if the wishing well is broken. However, investigating the wishing well underground, Stampy realises that the items are present underneath, going to gather only the new materials in the form of carrots and potatoes, though he notes that he had to cheat via creative mode to actually get them to remain honest in himself. With the new farm foods, Stampy decides to remove a row of the pumpkins and melons to allow the new carrots and potates to be present, in complete surprise of the power of his diamond shovel. Only having one of the foods each in his possession, Stampy instead decides to plant one each as intended so that they can be grown and gathered in order to repeat the cycle for a farm. Reminded of the presence of his pumpkins, Stampy is reminded that he can also make pumpkin pie, made using sugar, an egg and a pumpkin, the egg of which he gathers via his nearby chicken coop, creating two pumpkin pies for himself and L for Leeeee x and then filtering out his unnecessary materials as he advises L for Leeeee x to keep the pumpkin pie for a party later on.
Filling in the floor & the main walls of the Pretty Kitty[]
Moving on from the additions, Stampy proclaims to have wasted a day with the new additions, deciding to instead continue to build what he tried to in the previous episode, refraining from the reason as to why he had only tried to do as he advises his viewers to watch the previous episode for context. Arriving at the building site, which is currently a pool of water lined with glowstone, Stampy explains that he is intending to build a spa, which will feature a Jacuzzi and certain other water-related activities, with the prime focus being something called a "Beautifier", which is a special machine. Interrupted by his explanation, Stampy sees Corey then jump into the water below, which he immediately orders him to leave from due to not being an actual bath of sorts.
Continuing his explanation as he lines the pool of water with glass one in, Stampy describes the machine as the "Pretty Kitty Beautifier", a machine that will trigger a lever to shower the customer and make them twice as pretty as they were prior, though he doubts himself to need it. However, Stampy won't build it within the current episode due to the time taken up at the beginning of the episode, hoping to build the full exterior. Said exterior will appear as a glass pyramid with water, using glass that he had smelted in a furnace nearby, the pyramid then having a doorway in the middle of it with a walkway to take entry into the spa itself.
After filling in the floor with a glass square one in, Stampy clarifies the gap around the edge will allow water to enter through it and underneath of the building. Starting with the walls, Stampy decides he should build the doorway out of glowstone, building a 3-block wide space for the doorway as intended, and then extending the glowstone up by four blocks to create a 3x3 square for entry, with the inclusion of a walkway connecting up to the door. With the main entry established, Stampy then builds up walls on the edge of the glass square at four blocks high to level out with the main doorway which will be combined with a flat roof, with the flat roof will then contain the "pyramid" shape. While building across the walls, Stampy is alerted by the sight of a creeper swimming around in the water, calling L for Leeeee x to guard him, which he manages to do successfully, to Stampy's admiration as he additionally wonders what happens if a creeper take s entry into the Beautifier.
Continuing to build the walls, Stampy continues explaining that the area above the walls will be somewhat reminiscent of a bowl of sorts that will be filled with water, making the structure a "blue water-y blob" of sorts. However, while building, Stampy is suddenly greeted by the presence of a zombie and creeper, deciding to help out in the tirade, additionally seeing an enderman, of which then spontaneously teleports around the area upon being set on fire by L for Leeeee x's sword, seeing a zombie then get knocked underneath the spa thereafter. With the situation, Stampy wonders if he should build at nighttime more often due to liking the experience, though he considers against the idea of liking it due to the possibility of a creeper blowing up the structure he makes. After being attacked by a spider, Stampy decides he should set up the event in which he and L for Leeeee x eat their pumpkin pies together, which Stampy only does due to L for Leeeee x not having the hunger necessary to eat, to Stampy's confusion. Stampy requests extra glass from L for Leeeee x to build the final main walls.
With the final main walls complete, Stampy verifies the dimensions and design of the spa, and then starts to build the main ceiling on the fifth block to start the pyramid-like structure on top. Still continuing to build the final wall layer, Stampy is greeted by another spider that climbs up the wall to attack him and knock him off, killing it with his bow and arrow and then being bombarded by a skeleton and an underground creeper, L for Leeeee x eventually countering as he arms himself with his sword. Stampy remarks on the presence of the hostile mobs being in excess, and wonders if they are present due to coming from Googlies Island, though he knows the truth is that there are barely any torches spread around the area, finding the glowstone of the Pretty Kitty to be a valid counter against the mobs themselves. Taking note of the Sun eventually rising up, Stampy sees L for Leeeee x below eventually being able to eat his pumpkin pie, wich he finds to be enjoyable.
Detailing the roof as a pyramid & dousing the overall structure in water for the Pretty Kitty[]
After building up the main walls of the Pretty Kitty to four blocks high, Stampy explains that water will additionally flow forwards to the entrance, and then decides to add the "pyramid" element, starting to build up and in the first time on the fifth block of height, which he intends to repeat until a single block is present in the middle, which he compares to a water fountain. Stampy compares the general design idea to his own house due to it also containing water on top of it, stating that there will be a "bugle" of water with water pouring down per each side of the glass to cover it completely to allow water to be seen from the interior, making it appear somewhat as though the walls are out of water according to his vision. Building up the third row in, Stampy is reminded that he will additionally detail glowstone per each corner to light the area up, after which he will then add the water, which will be difficult due to how difficult the material is to hand.
Eventually peaking the pyramid roof, Stampy returns inside of the building to create a flat roof on the fifth block in height so that the interior of the pyramid can be filled with water. Hoping for enough glass to be supplied, Stampy asks L for Leeeee x if he has extra glass, requesting it to be thrown in the middle hole so he can gather it, which he does. In terms of the next episode, the interior will be built, featuring a Jacuzzi, a "Fishy Feet Fountain", which is a pool for people to dunk in their feet and allow fish to suck on them, to his own inquisition as he assures his viewers that it is a real tradition for a spa, with the Beautifier being included within.
Filling in the main ceiling, Stampy crafts a set of buckets for himself and L for Leeeee x, only to realise that he lacks the iron to do so due to using it for the anvil prior. He asks L for Leeeee x if he has iron, and upon the declination that he possesses it, he decides to instead return back to his house via ender pearls to gather iron from one of his chests, with iron ingots being loaded within his iron chest, deciding to take a stack to return back and craft buckets to add the water details. He remarks on the implausibility of this operation and the likelihood of it working, deciding to use a demonstration prior to the end of the episode to show the eventual result.
Returning back via ender pearls, Stampy ends up landing in the water below, released by L for Leeeee x afterwards, and then crafting a set of buckets for himself and L for Leeeee x, as well as adding an infinite water source to fill up the buckets with water in order to generally test the water. On his way to doing so, Stampy mysteriously is joined by Gregory Jr., whom he immediately sits down due to the presence of water around the area, filling up all of his buckets along with L for Leeeee x to then add it to the top of the structure. Creating a dirt staircase to reach the top, and then removing it to allow the water to flow down correctly, Stampy starts by setting down water in the middle top of the structure, and then adding water per each corner the entirety of the way down, completing the first quadrant of the spa's exterior.
Completing the first corner, Stampy admires the result, offering his viewers to imagine the water copied on each side to visualise the finished product, then proclaiming that the Pretty Kitty will be finished in the next episode and using it, and then ending the episode with the line "So I wanna thank you all very much for watching this video, and hopefully, I will see you in my next episode. Byeeeeee!"
