"I wanna scare little kids, basically, that's the plan..." |
— Stampy summarising the aim of his library for Googlies Manor. |
"Witch Room" is the 64th episode of Stampy's Lovely World. In this episode, Stampy builds a library for Googlies Manor.
Plot[]
Inside of Stampy's Lovely World forever & a house of 40% dog graves[]
Stampy opens the episode, asking those who don't know Stampy's Lovely World where they've been in that it is the first world he ever made in Minecraft, and he hasn't made any other worlds besides his Community World, to which he proclaims this Minecraft as a whole to him is Stampy's Lovely World, as he couldn't imagine playing the game in any world else, since it's also somewhat like his viewers' home too. Stampy calls the opening to the episode "lovely" and clarifies that it was planned, seemingly having made it all up.
Now at his Love Garden, Stampy points to the sign on the love heart model in front of him reading "Stampy's Love Garden", describing that it is a location where he gives a shoutout to someone who has made him smile, laugh, generally given him a comment, or sent him a message that has stood out, calling the Love Garden a row of people that he wants to give an "extra special shoutout" to. Stampy adds "Explosive Lizard" to the Love Garden due to a comment he thought was funny that was written in one of his videos, the comment saying "Stampy, your house is made out of 15% sandstone, 20% wood, 20% stone, 5% wall, and 40% dog graves", to which Stampy notes that it mocks Stampy's frequent dog deaths and the fact that he has to set up graves for him everywhere. Stampy also points out that it was the top-rated comment, to which Stampy presumes that it made a minority his viewers laugh as well. Stampy thanks Explosive Lizard, calling him by the honorific of "Mr.", and welcomes him to the Love Garden.
Arriving at the doghouse via main entrance, Stampy refers to the dogs via the subject of dog graves and points out that he is taking a dog with him for the episode, which he does at the start of every episode. Stampy is indecisive as he normally does so last-minute, and then decides to take Oreo with him, having not had him for some episodes. Stampy proceeds to joke that Oreo is defined by the fact that he has eyes that are reminiscent of Oreos, which is how he tells him apart.
Visting his minecart track to travel to Stampy's Funland, Stampy announces his helpers as LONG bow X99, who he assures his viewers will recognise due to his frequent appearances in previous episodes, saying that it's nice to have him in his videos. Stampy attempts to set off the minecart, only for Oreo to be blocking the exit, and he gives him a count to three for him to move off the track. Stampy gives a count to three, and Oreo disobeys him, and then proceeds to move off of the track. Oreo reutrns back on the track as Stampy prepares to set off the minecart, and decides to chase Oreo off, saying that he is scared of Stampy himself. Stampy tries once again to set off the minecart, annoying him greatly as he tells Oreo to stop being silly, and decides to punish him by setting him in the minecart. Stampy then takes out another minecart and sets it off, following Oreo, and considers the possibility that he interfered intentionally, noticing he might seem harsh for the punishment. Stampy then reaches the middle station to release Oreo from the minecart, and continues to Stampy's Funland, comparing the process of hitting the minecart with a sword to release a dog to a fine shave. Stampy sees Oreo behind him, giving him permission to at least follow, and decides to give Oreo a time limit of the entire video for him to remedy his relationship with Stampy, and he then arrives at Stampy's Funland.
Starting to build the walls and entry of a library in Googlies Manor[]
Stampy introduces his viewers to Stampy's Funland, and decides to mention what he will build in the video, informing his viewers that he has been building Googlies Manor within the previous episodes. Stampy sees LONG bow X99 through the left window, calling it "creepy" due to the weirdness of his skin, and then sees him disappeara into the darkness. Stampy describes that Googlies Manor is a haunted house in Stampy's Funland, pointing out a spider on top of the roof, calling it fitting that there is a hostile mob on the roof of Googlies Manor. Taking entry into the building itself, Stampy describes that he will build a library in the current video, and will explain his plans for it in the video. Firstly, he will show the finished product of what he was building in the previous room, though not before briefly showing the living room as well as some beds that he added for the sake of his helpers. Stampy walks through the door to reach the other room, entitiling it a "ghost door", to reach the dining room across, recalling that he was making a dark area in the ceiling so that any hostile mobs that may spawn above will drop through the holes to simulate the idea of them having a dinner party, something he thinks works upon taking sight of it, though he is disappointed by there only being two, wishing there would be more, like creepers and skeletons. Stampy decies to call the two zombies "Dodger" and "Derek".
In preparation for the next room, Stampy walks into an open area across from the door, scared by LONG bow X99, whom he tells to stop standing in spooky positions and causing him to jump. Repeating his idea, Stampy states that he is building a library within the space, and then decides to show the area above the dining room where the hostile mobs spawn, commenting on one thath he sees from the top-down. Stampy continues that there will be a library, pointing out the obviousness of there being bookshelves, and says that LONG bow X99 will help him with the redstone, possessing a dispenser he needs to give him. Stampy explains the basic concept of the library in that there will bookshelves on both sides upon entry, and a pressure plate that will trigger an arrow to fire out of a dispenser to scare the player, and when the player reaches the end, a note block will play a dinging noise, leading to a bookshelf revealing a jack-o-lantern, sarcastically acting like it's actually terrifying. Stampy hopes that he will make visitors jump, and that he wants to scare the little kids who come through Googlies Manor.
Stampy starts setting down some bookshelves one block in from the exterior wall so there is room for the redstone, meaning the jack-o-lantern will be one block indented. Stampy wraps the main size of the room around using the size of the dining room, leaving an opening for a door. Stampy is about to craft one before he notices that LONG bow X99, who was supposed to assist him with his redstone, has disappeared somewhere, asking the two zombies if they have seen him since he had to come through the dining room. Stampy starts to sympathise with the zombies, though aware that they are simply zombies, and decides to put him in their perspective, since they are trapped in the glass chamber for all eternity. Stampy continues to wonder where LONG bow X99 is due to him being his mechanic, calling him a "redstone guy", who Stampy says that someone who is redstone savvy is necessary for a team, and LONG bow X99 plays the role, whom he needs.
Crafting a door, Stampy places it down in the vacant spot, and decides to stack up the bookshelves further since he is capable of doing it, hoping that LONG bow X99 will return to add the redstone, though he leaves a gap for the jack-o-lantern since he is unsure of his redstone mechanism. Stampy wonders again where he is, and decides to simply continue building up the bookshelves, though he realises he may not have enough. Stampy decides to dismiss the thought, due to the unwillingness to return back to his house to cut down sugar cane for bookshelves, commenting on the awkwardness of the crafting recipe for bookshelves.
Stampy runs out of his bookshelves, deciding to later include some by the entrance to the room, and concludes that he has added enough as it is so he can start working on what he wants to, crafting a wooden pressure plate as he wonders if LONG bow X99 has simply lagged out. Stampy decides to add the pressure plate as close to the door as he can, finding that it opens the door, which he thinks could add additional fear. Stampy decides to add the pressure plate one in anyway, since there will be bookshelves by the wall anyway. Due to LONG bow X99's absence, Stampy decides he should be the one to enter the underground and add the redstone. Promptly, Stampy says that he removed the water underneath, trying to find the hole he left to get underneath eventually which also features a ladder, revealing that he had dug out underneath the room, learning from his issue with his ghost door in that he was constantly bombarded by water that destroyed all of the redstone, planning ahead for that and creating a space undereath in advance.
Stampy once again wonders where LONG bow X99 is, having not seen him at all, since he hired him to work on Googlies Manor for the specific reason of the redstone for the library in the first place, and he considers the possibility that he actually did lag out, but hadn't noticed. Stampy searches the front of Googlies Manor for LONG bow X99 as well, only to find that it is turning to night, and he hopes that he hasn't wandered off too distantly from his location. Stampy decides it doesn't matter and that he can build his library by himself, only to see LONG bow X99 pop in from the unfinished library, to which Stampy responds by sarcastically thanking him for making his appearance. Stampy returns back into the library, seeing the updated wall left of the jack-o-lantern featuring a dispenser, recalling that he hadn't placed it. Stampy regrets what he has been saying to LONG bow X99, thinking that he was too harsh on him without need.
Attempting to work on the redstone & adding the ceiling[]
Stampy starts to work on the redstone, starting with the mechanism to trigger the pressure plate. He wonders if the current will work in the first place, and decides that he needs a figure to use the pressure plate as a test, though he thinks it's okay. Stampy decides to test himself by looking down at the open hole to get a clear view of the redstone, standing on the pressure plate by his own accord, and verifies that he has added the redstone correctly as he sees it light up. Stampy is alerted by the presence of flowing water, pointing out a water flow that LONG bow X99 accidetnally released into the room. Stampy decides that he shouldn't get in LONG bow's way and thinks that he should set up the jack-o-lantern mechanism for him, and also considers making more bookshelves at his house. Stampy also recalls that need for arrows, deciding to substitute it with dirt for the dispenser as a material test. Stampy starts to worry if the dispenser is too close to someone who may potentially walk in, and then concludes that it's far enough away.
Due to LONG bow X99 working on the redstone underneath, Stampy decides to add the ceiling, considering a stone brick ceiling, connecting the ceiling of the dining room up with the ceiling of the library, matching each room by height and width. Stampy sees that he needs to add one more layer of bookshelves, and considers it to not be a problem, and he alo decides as a setup for the roof by simply lining it above the bookshelves, and hopes that he will fix the redstone better then he could create it. Filling in the ceiling itself, Stampy says that he thinks he could've done the redstone himself, but it likely would have taken up twice the average duration, saying that friends are there for said reason, and says that he may as well have had LONG bow X99 join him either way. Stampy takes a peek down underneath the floor, and takes a check that LONG bow X99 is making the redstone so the one pressure plate triggers both events, with Stampy saying he would have been fine with just the dispenser firing, since the piston would've confused him. Stampy says that he is unsure how it would be hidden, since the current state of the bookshelves would make the piston visible.
Stampy hears an arrow being shot behind him what with LONG bow X99 testing the redstone he is creating, and he realises he should be careful, additionally admiring the handiwork of LONG bow X99. Stampy also tests the redstone itself, and finds that it narrowly avoids the player, since he doesn't want it to actually hurt someone walking through, and just wants it to scare. With this idea, Stampy concludes that he should add a rule for one person to enter through the house, since a group would cause the arrow to potentially become dangerous. Stampy goes to check on the dining room next door, and is surprised to see a zombie wht a diamond sword and a pumpkin, seeing there are holes where they have potentially attempted to break out of the chamber. Stampy also sees that there is cake on the table, as welll as in one's hand, telling the zombies that they have to behave. Stampy sees the dressed zombie sticking itself through the open glass behind it, and he asks if the zombie is okay in the chamber that it is. Stampy starts to sympatheise with them again upon noticing that they have tried to escape, and decides to make a confession. Stampy shows the zombies aren't actually zombies by revealing the gamertags, showing that they are actually L for Leeeee x and EPIC BIG C, since they thought it would be funny if they dressed as zombies and pretend to be normal zombies, and that whenever he entered through the room, they would be holding an object. He clarifies that they were all just playing a joke and didn't intend to prank his viewers.
On the topic of the dining room, Stampy climbs back up to the spawn area as he calls out for a solution to his issue with hostile mobs since he only rarely receives hostile mobs. Stampy travels up to another room above the room where the hostile mobs drop down from, which is the interior of the roof, and he adds some torches to reveal its contents as a water stream leading down into the dropping point. Stampy explains a plan he and his helpers had in that hostile mobs would spawn and be led to a hole, Oreo falling down said hole. Stampy demonstrates such with his own player character, and continues that they would eventually drop into one of the holes above the seats and would appear as though they are at the dinner party. In exception of that, nothing is actually spawning, and Stampy wonders if they don't spawn in the water. Despite this, they aren't spawning on the dry floor, and Stampy has no idea why, wanting to be informed by his viewers as to why, since he has no idea why, though they did receive one zombie in the last episode. Since that point, only one spider has spawned, which isn't considered useful.
Returning down to continue to fill in the ceiling, Stampy continues stating his request for information as to why hostile mobs aren't spawning, as he needs his viewers' help if they are Minecraft experts. Stampy decides he should finish off his roof while LONG bow X99 continues working on the redstone, hoping for him to finish it eventually. Stampy considers removing his pressure plate since his helpers may continue standing on it, shooting Stampy with dispensers until he dies, though he wonders if a dispenser shooting an arrow at another player would trigger Oreo to attack, though he doesn't think so as the player themselves is required to trigger a wolf to attack.
Finishing the ceiling & testing the experience[]
Stampy finishes filling in the ceiling from the main room, and reads a sign reading "lee had to go", and another sign reading "sticky p?", both from EPIC BIG C. Stampy gives her 15 of them, and he finds that she will be assisting LONG bow X99 in the redstone. Stampy says that it is annoying for his videos since his viewers can't hear his helpers, and his viewers have been asking why he hasn't allowed other people to speak during videos. While continuing to fill in the wall, Stampy explains that the reason is simply because it sounds "rubbish" to hear someone else speaking through Xbox Live, since the sound quality is low, and besides Skype, there isn't an easy method for other players to speak. Additionally, Stampy thinks that he likes commentary on his own, since he is used to it. After commetning on the note block he hears in the background, Stampy is hit by an arrow after accidentally aligning with the dispenser as he continues filling in the wall, triggered by Oreo. Due to his intereference by during the trip to Stampy's Funland at the beginning of the episode, Stampy recalls having to reconcile with him during the video, shooting him with an arrow not helping in that matter. Stampy is then hit by a set of arrows from EPIC BIG C, and he decides to remove the arrows from the dispener due to the irresponsibiltiy of his helpers, though he considers the possibility that they are simply testing the arrows.
Placing the spruce logs for the top of the wall one forward, Stampy has to destroy them, considering replacing tthem with bookshelves to match the rest of the wall, adding logs to simply corner off the room. In regards to the dining room, Stampy hopes that more of them will spawn by the end of the episode so he can show his viewers what the room is intended to apppear as. Suddenly, Stampy falls down into a hole for the redstone, and finally sees the result of LONG bow X99's work underneath, inquistive as to the mechanism. Seeing it to be complicated, Stampy clarifies that this is the real reason he hired LONG bow X99 rather than himself. Stampy checks the redstone to see how it works, finding that the pressure plate sets off, leading to note blocks, as well as a delayed current leading to the dispenser in the wall. Stampy also sees a vacant piston, wondering if it also sets it off, which he believes makes sense. Suddenly, Stampy is alerted by the fact that x Bread Stick has decided to join the game, to which he greets him.
Stampy finds x Bread Stick by the gap between the dining room and reception, greeting him, and then walks to the library as he hopes that LONG bow X99 will make the redstone functional eventually, as he is unsure of what he should do left, though he is unsure of how he will make the rest of it function. Stampy suddenly has a realisation of his plan in that there will be two sticky pistons next to one another, and then decides he should add x Bread Stick to assist with the redstone due to his experience.
In advance, Stampy decides he should check the top of the dining room again to check for spawns, wondering why nothing is spawning despite the darkness of the room above. Stampy sees a figure in the water, presuming it to be a hostile mob, only to find that he was mistaking Oreo as one. Stampy also adds a torch above the ceiling for the library, and then jumps down as he finds that he is running out of time for the video, and is disappointed as he wanted his viewers to see the redstone working. Stampy sees one of the bookshelves rise up and descend, and is surprised to find that the redstone is actually nearly closure, deciding to add x Bread Stick to the sides of the jack-o-lantern, apologising to an x Bread Stick he saw through the left hole for blocking him behind, and then leads him into the room again. Stampy wonders how he will complete the mechanism since he wants the bookshelf to already be in front of the jack-o-lantern before it is revealed, since it isn't working in that manner in current time.
Stampy decides to test the dispenser again, filling it with arrows, and will expect the redstone to be complete by the next episode so he can walk through it and check if it works. He decides he should test it by starting at the main reception area, or won't in this case. Stampy starts from the outside, walking in, considering adding a jukebox to the reception area of Googlies Manor to play something scary before beginning. Stampy enters into the living room, sarcastically calling the beds and cobblestone table "scary". Stampy then enters in through the dining room, admiring the ghost door, noticing that there should be hostile mobs within the glass chamber for the dining table, which there aren't. After entering into the current room, Stampy then tests that his current room works, only finding that the jack-o-lantern mechanism is unfinished, hoping that it will work eventually. After exiting the library, Stampy plans for there to be a staircase leading to be a basement, and then a staircase leading to the attic or a child's bedroom, to which the player will then be led out into the reception where they first began, ending the ride.
Stampy leaves Googlies Manor upon his test of the experience so far to check it out from the mini-game across, announcing the end of the video. Stampy thanks LONG bow X99 for assisting with redstone, and EPIC BIG C and L for Leeeee x for dressing as zombies. He also thanks x Bread Stick for joining in, and Oreo for managing to reconcile for his behaviour at the beginning of the episode. Afterwards, Stampy then ends the episode with the line "And also, thank you very much for watching, and I'll see you guys all later. Byeee!"
